Two new characters axed before joining!!!

Corrie bosses are planning to kill off 2 characters this Winter, the Daily Star can report today, with 2 of them not even in the show as yet! Beatrice Liegh played by Annete Hargreaves and Paul Leigh played by David Martins will move into The Harris' ill fated house in Corrie in June, but are later killed when asbestos is found in the roof. The deaths promt the Platts, Peacock-Elliotts and Audreys hair salon to move out of their respective properties until the problem is fixed. A Corrie source said "We're bringing them into to raise awareness to this kind of problem, if they prove popular then we will keep them, if not then the storyline will run".

How can you suddenly die from coming into contact with asbestos? I thought it was a long drawn out process and ven then it doesn't mean you die.

And why hasn't anyone else been affected? Surely former residents ahave been up into the attic?

Hello here ges my first posting
I think that before the Harris the Dr and his wife lived there and before them I thought it was Kevins old female boss who he had an affair with (she also ran the Rovers) and before that wasn't Des and his wife living there?
