    Digital Spy article:

Home & Away reveals new character Dr Green, as Ditch Davey joins the cast.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...n-ditch-davey/

Home and Away has announced that Ditch Davey is joining the cast.

Ditch will play Dr Green, a character who will be introduced when one popular Summer Bay resident faces a medical crisis, Digital Spy can exclusively confirm.

“With his level of expertise and arrogance, he puts a few noses out of joint at the hospital,” reads the character description,” but that doesn’t mean he lacks a sense of humour...or softer side for those he wants to let in.”...

EDIT: The character’s full name is Dr Christian Green

Home And Away?s hunky new doctor has arrived in Summer Bay and he's stirring up drama already!
Tori's nose is put slightly out of joint."

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebri...an-green-65228

Be sure to keep an eye on your vital signs this week, Home And Away fans, because a hunky new doctor is set to send hearts racing - Tori's in particular.

Desperate to help her brother Justin (James Stewart) get the surgery he needs, Tori (Penny McNamee) calls in a favour to jump the waiting list at the hospital. Cue the arrival of Dr Christian Green (Ditch Davey). He's not only a top neurosurgeon in town, but quite the charmer too!

"He arrives in town to advise on Justin's case - which Tori [Penny McNamee] is involved with both professionally and personally," Ditch tells TV WEEK.

However, Christian's casual bedside manner quickly gets under Tori's skin. She's anxious about Justin's upcoming surgery - which took all her energy to convince him to have in the first place.

After laying out all the options to Justin and Leah (Ada Nicodemou), he leaves the room - leaving Tori flustered, which Justin can't help but notice.

"Tori's nose is put slightly out of joint because he's very good at what he does, and confident. He's OK with people knowing that," Ditch explains.

Meanwhile, Justin continues to doubt whether he really needs the surgery.

The procedure is risky and could paralyse him if anything was to go wrong.

"The thing about Justin's cavernoma is that surgery would mean cutting out the tumour," James, 44, tells TV WEEK.

"But because it's so close to the nerve, there's a chance they could unintentionally cut part of the nerves, which could mean he could lose his mobility. They can cut it out or use medication to reduce the size of the tumour and bring the swelling off the spine."

When his daughter Ava (Alice Roberts) comes to visit, he puts on a brave face and assures her there's nothing to worry about. Meanwhile, Leah uses the youngster to convince Justin to have the surgery - until she's caught out.

"Leah thinks Justin should have the operation and not muck around with something like this," James explains. "But Justin, in his machoism, thinks he can just wait it out and it will fix itself."

On the beach, Justin and Ava play soccer to forget about everything. There are plenty of laughs as Justin rallies for a fun day with his daughter.

Just as she's about to head home, Justin holds Ava for what could be the last time...

    Will he reconsider surgery?

Home and Away to reveal a deadly secret from Christian Green's past in 2021 storyline
    Newcomer Lewis wants revenge.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...deadly-secret/

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

Home and Away has confirmed plans to explore Christian Green's past this year.

Christian is currently loved-up with established regular Tori Morgan, but the arrival of a Summer Bay newcomer could threaten to throw a spanner in the works.

Home and Away's latest trailer for the 2021 season shows new character Lewis Hayes attempt to share some home truths about Christian.

Teaser footage shows Lewis expose an incident from the past and brand Christian "a danger to his patients", before warning that he plans to watch him like a hawk.

Lewis, who works as a nurse, is an old flame of Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) and is expected to appear on screen for a few months.

Luke Arnold, who plays him, recently shared some of the backstory which explains Lewis's animosity towards Christian.

Viewers will learn that Lewis blames the surgeon for the death of his late partner ? the exact reasons why have yet to be revealed.

Luke told Who magazine: "Lewis wants to get into it with Ditch Davey's character Christian Green, but when he reconnects with Jasmine, he's torn between his budding new romance and his building obsession with Christian."

Ditch also recently hinted at this storyline when he spoke to Digital Spy about future plans for Christian.

He told us: "Yes, of course he's got secrets, and there's some things that will come up that he doesn't even know about.

"He's got his own past, but there's also things that are following him that he doesn't even know. He finds out when the audience does!"

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and returns on Monday, February 1 at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).

Is Tori making a big mistake?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...rgan-proposal/

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian and UK viewers.

Home and Away has revealed a first look at Christian Green and Tori Morgan's proposal storyline.

Christian (Ditch Davey) will pop the question to Tori (Penny McNamee) in next week's episodes in Australia, wanting to show his commitment to their relationship.

A new trailer, which can be viewed at the top of the page, previews the romantic moment that Christian asks Tori to marry him.

Christian explains that he wants him, Tori and baby Grace to be a proper family together. Tori appears to be won over, but more problems could be just around the corner.

Lewis brands the surgeon a danger to his patients and admits to Jasmine that he'll be watching Christian like a hawk from now on.

"He's got his own past, but there's also things that are following him that he doesn't even know. He finds out when the audience does!"

Home and Away airs the proposal next week in Australia and later this month in the UK.
