The guilt is eating Diane up and she tells Leela about her affair with Edward. Leela urges Diane not to tell Tony if she wants to keep him.

At home, Diane and Tony bury their feelings and decide to spend some quality time with each other, while Edward seethes.

Meanwhile, Mercedes is cleaning up The Dog after Liam's cronies smashed the place up, while Warren is on the war-path despite Mercedes's warnings that Liam is unpredictable. He turns up at The Loft.

Elsewhere, Marnie is planning a sophisticated evening at Salon De Thé. She's missing a cellist for her string quartet and tries to tempt Edward to step in, leaving her weak at the knees when Edward comes to her rescue and plays at the recital.

Also today, Darren is struggling with his emotions, while trying to save a comedy lunch at The Hutch that he has organised but forgotten to advertise. The results of a quiz that Luke does in a magazine prove that Darren isn't his normal self, although Luke and Tony don't spot the signs.

Marnie and even Goldie are impressed with Edward's performance at Salon De Thé.

Edward lets Marnie down gently when she comes on too strong, but she reassures him that she's not after anything serious.

Meanwhile, Darren takes Tony to The Loft for a boys' night out.

Verity turns up at Diane's flat.

Later, Edward prepares a romantic dinner for Tony and Diane and tells them to kiss and make up. However, Edward lets Verity in on his plan to steal Diane away from Tony.

Meanwhile, Jack wakes Darren up when he's running late. Nancy drops Oscar and Charlie off for Darren to take to school and warns him not to forget to pick Oscar up later. However, he does forget, and Nancy can't contain her anger. But Nancy's words have a bigger effect on Darren than she knows.

Elsewhere, Toby and Celeste discuss their lack of progress with finding out which one of the Deverauxs is responsible for giving him away as a baby. They find out about Louis Loveday's death at the hands of Breda and think it's something they can work with.

Darren feels like he has let Oscar down again when he forgets to organise his outfit for World Book Day. Nancy questions what's going on with him, but he can't bring himself to tell her the truth.

Later, Darren is behaving erratically while making Oscar a present. Jack is worried about Darren's obsessive behaviour with this, and the comedy event. Darren lashes out at his dad, trying to hide his sadness, and later ignores calls and texts from Luke.

Meanwhile, Edward decides to turn his attentions to Marnie and make Diane jealous. Verity runs into Sami for the first time since their night together and it's clear there's still a spark between them. She offers to help Sami with a case and she impresses James with her straight-talking.

Elsewhere, Toby and Celeste stage an argument, which attracts Lisa's attention. She gets upset by a reminder of Louis, so Toby comforts her and takes her to The Hutch.

Toby has damage control to do with Lisa, while Celeste calls Romeo.

Later, Toby is angry when he sees Romeo leaving his flat.

Meanwhile, Yazz tells Sami about her hopes of getting her hearing back, but he doesn't want her to get ahead of herself.

Later, Yazz confides in Tom that her hearing aids make her feel self-conscious.
