Gray is upset as his office has returned his belongings. He warns Chantelle not to tell her parents that he has been suspended.
Later, there's another twist when Gray learns that his firm has dropped Whitney's case. He takes his anger out on Chantelle again, but she encourages him to represent Whitney independently.
Meanwhile, Jean catches Suki out in a lie over her medication, but Suki warns her not to interfere. Jean refuses to back down and later accuses Suki at The Vic in front of the Panesars. The family are disgusted at Jean's accusations, but Kheerat and Ash can't help wondering whether they're true. It's Kheerat who takes the lead by calling Suki's bluff.
Elsewhere, Lexi sees Jay with the engagement ring, so he urges her to keep his plans secret from Lola.
Also today, Linda is hurt that Mick doesn't trust her when she catches him searching their home for any leftover stashes of alcohol.

Meanwhile, Gray tells Chantelle that he plans to represent Whitney to get his job back. Chantelle faces her own setback when Denise reveals that she no longer needs her full-time.
Elsewhere, Rainie struggles when an ex-client arrives at the funeral parlour. When Linda later makes jibes towards Rainie at Walford East, her harsh words upset Rainie, who opens up to Stuart about her past.
Also today, Tiffany feels left out when Iqra and Keegan work on their loan application together.

At the Queen Vic, Mitch is intrigued when Jack mentions that he saw Gray going into a hotel. Gray is furious when Mitch starts quizzing him over the mystery.
Later, as Gray angrily fills in Chantelle over her dad's insinuations, Mitch tells Karen that he thinks Gray is having an affair. Karen refuses to believe it, but Mitch is determined to prove it.
Meanwhile, Patrick admits to Denise that he thinks Isaac hates him. Later, Patrick tries to calm Isaac down when he gets too excited over an air hockey game. Isaac has some harsh words for Patrick in response.
Elsewhere, Chantelle decides to accept a job offer from Kheerat.
Also today, Mick and Stuart both try to support Linda ahead of her latest meeting.

Chantelle warns Mitch to back off when she spots him preparing to follow Gray. Mitch continues his detective work regardless, calling Gray's office and discovering that he has been suspended. Mitch wastes no time before telling Gray what he knows, but his son-in-law is offended when he tries to offer some money.
Later, Gray explodes with rage at home as he thinks that Chantelle told Mitch. However, Gray is mortified when Mitch reveals how he found out and it's clear that Chantelle didn't say anything.
Meanwhile, after taking some advice from Callum and hearing Jay and Lola talking, Stuart makes a plan to cheer Rainie up by proposing to her.
Elsewhere, Denise discovers that Isaac's outburst towards Patrick was on the anniversary of his father's death. Denise looks for a way to help Patrick and Isaac make amends.
The next episode of EastEnders airs on Monday, March 16.
