Pierce and Hendrix brace themselves for the arrival of Lisa. Pierce is on edge, certain that his controlling ex will leave his own relationship with Hendrix in tatters. Feeling awful, Hendrix apologises to Chloe. She accepts the apology but challenges him to reflect on his behaviour.

However, when Lisa does turn up, she's surprisingly reasonable and understanding. Hendrix is happy to confide in his mum about everything, but Pierce is still suspicious. Lisa definitely has a plan, but what is it?

Meanwhile, it's Paul's birthday and he doesn't want to make a fuss, but Terese is throwing a family brunch. However, Paul is truly confronted by the occasion when he receives a mysterious gift in the mail – a plant seedling from Rob in prison.

Rattled, Paul decides to throw it away, but when Harlow finds out, she challenges Paul to keep the plant. Will he listen to his granddaughter?

Harlow is deeply upset that Prue hasn't responded to her emails. Feeling for her, Terese turns to Gary, hoping he might know a better way to reach Prue. He doesn't and Harlow reassures him – she's resigned to the fact that her mum doesn't want to speak to her.

Feeling for her, Gary tries to show Harlow that even though Prue left, she does love Harlow. Will this be enough to cheer her out of her funk?

Meanwhile, Hendrix refuses to talk to Pierce or Lisa and vents his anger to the Kennedys. Karl and Susan do their best to convince Hendrix not to let this ruin his future with Pierce.

Later, Harlow also gives Hendrix some tough love – at least his parents are around. Eventually, Hendrix poses a ceasefire with his father, and wants to move forward as a family unit. But things aren't resolved with every member of his family.

Chloe and Pierce grapple with Lisa's shock baby proposal. Lisa pleads with them both to think about it and Chloe is troubled when it seems Pierce is actually considering the request. Seeking counsel from Aaron, Chloe has to admit Lisa's proposition is an enticing offer for Pierce.

Hendrix is shocked and annoyed to learn of Lisa's hidden agenda. Chloe realises she has no choice but to demand the truth from Pierce – what does he really want?

Meanwhile, when Roxy realises Sheila was genuinely the one keeping her and Shane apart, and they're thrown together while Shane fills in for a co-worker, their friendship gets back on track.

Despite a stern warning from Sheila, the fun and games don't take long to kick in behind The Waterhole bar. Roxy is thrilled to have her playmate back but as they get more comfortable, will they slide back into old habits?

Elsewhere, when Hendrix moves back to Number 24, Bea leaps at the chance to propose Elly move back in with the Kennedys. Elly's compelled to let her sister down, insisting she and Aster are finally feeling settled and independent. But while Elly claims to be enjoying life across the road, she's privately still struggling with the temptation of being under the same roof as Finn.

Roxy is mortified after kissing Shane, who is completely shocked and can't get away from her fast enough.

The next day, Shane seeks out Roxy. He's determined to tell Dipi when he sees her next, but regretful Roxy pleads for him not to, as Dipi and Shane have just gotten back on track. Torn and increasingly guilty, Shane second guesses his instinct. Should he come clean to his wife or not?

Meanwhile, Elly starts to feel redundant at home as Aaron and David take over again and send her out for the day. Once out, Elly runs into Bea and Finn, feeling a pang of loneliness.

After talking about motherhood with Terese, Elly realises what she really needs is time with her baby, but when she arrives home, Aster and the boys are nowhere to be seen. Elly is frantic. What has happened to her baby?

Relations are strained after Elly's outburst and she avoids Number 32, instead hiding with Bea and Finn. There Finn and Bea counsel her to establish boundaries with her new housemates.

For their part, David and Aaron are mortified that they have overstepped with Aster and when Elly returns home full of apologies, they agree to start a new routine.

Meanwhile, Yashvi is back from Sydney and determined to ace her police entrance exam by obeying an old police superstition: remaining celibate until her exams. While studying in the cafe Ned tries to tempt her into breaking her vow, and Yashi accuses him of not supporting her.

Ned apologises and the couple are back on the same page, but unbeknown to them, a shady guy has been watching them study. Who is he and what does he want with Ned and Yashvi?
