    Now confirmed.

EastEnders has confirmed the departure of Stevie Basaula as Isaac Baptiste.

Two years after Basaula's debut as Patrick Trueman's son Isaac, the BBC One soap has announced that the popular character will be bidding farewell to Albert Square.

Following speculation over the weekend that Stevie had quit the show, after photos of a cast party emerged on Instagram, producer Kate Oates said in a statement that EastEnders "will miss" the actor.
