    Digital Spy's expanded spoilers:

    Monday 13 Jan

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ches-for-nell/

It's a desperate search for Nell as Kyle berates himself for taking his eyes off her. She's found at Sonya's mural. The neighbours all breathe a sigh of relief and Toadie is understanding, ready to put this behind them.

They all admire the beautiful mural of Sonya and congratulate Ned. However, Kyle continues to beat himself up. Will he recover from this devastating blow to his confidence?

Meanwhile, Roxy and Shane both receive an official warning about cheating the customer satisfaction survey. Dipi admits she's not totally comfortable with how close Shane and Roxy's friendship is becoming. Sheila encourages Dipi to recapture the spice in their relationship.

Back at Number 22, Roxy fights with Harlow about her kidney secret. In a dark place, she sets out on a drinking binge. Just as Dipi decides to organise a surprise treat for her man, Shane gets a call from a wasted Roxy.

Determined to resign from the buddy club, Kyle is asked to run at least one activity before he calls it quits. Terese is worried that Kyle can't handle the pressure, so decides to supervise the session and a nervous Kyle can't seem to get control.

Terese steps in, with her doubts growing. But when an incident with one of the kids requires Kyle's know-how, will he be able to step up and help?

Meanwhile, Dipi tries to express her concerns about Shane's friendship with Roxy, but Shane refuses to take her seriously, assuring they're just co-workers.

On the advice of Sheila, Dipi decides to watch over Shane and Roxy at work and is perturbed at what she sees. However, the tables turn when Shane finds out about Dipi's accident with Gary – he's furious, calling Dipi a hypocrite. The rift between this couple is growing ever wider.

    Wednesday 15 Jan

Shane is furious with Dipi for making such an extreme demand and refuses to do what she has asked. When Sheila gives Roxy and Shane amended rosters scheduling them apart, he blows up at Dipi, believing her responsible.

Sheila sets Shane straight – it was her who changed the rosters, and Shane is now realising he has wreaked havoc in his own marriage. Is he going to be able to fix it?

Meanwhile, a week in at her new residence, Elly is struggling to make Number 32 her home. The family at Number 28 are also feeling her absence, but Susan is proud that Elly has kept her distance from Finn, as it's best for everyone involved.

David and Aaron note they haven't seen Finn visiting Elly much and invite him and Bea over for a meal. Finn is forced to see Elly and feels for her struggles at Number 32. These two are struggling to let go of each other.

Chloe is determined to prove she is capable of being Lassiters' General Manager, but the long hours mean she doesn't see much of Pierce. Hearing of her struggles and her and Pierce's relationship tensions, Hendrix feels sympathy for Chloe. When she loses half of a financial report she was working on, he offers his support.

Chloe manages to fix her mistake and feels she and Hendrix have made a huge step towards repairing their relationship. Time will tell if this thaw can last.

Meanwhile, Susan reprimands Elly and Finn separately for their clandestine visits. They're meant to be keeping their distance from one another. A guilty Elly admits it's not just the help with Aster she craves from Finn – it's the pseudo-spousal support. However, she knows it's wrong and turns to Aaron and David for help with Aster as a diversion to help suppress her feelings for Finn.

Finn attempts to focus on Bea. Are these two heading for disaster?

    Friday 17 Jan

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...finns-gesture/

Sideswiped by Finn's question, Bea gives him a confused 'no'. Sheepish, Finn admits it was a spontaneous move but he just wanted her to feel loved. Bea assures Finn that she does, and the couple are back on the same page.

Susan is worried to hear about it, but Finn reassures her that it actually had a positive effect on their relationship – he and Bea are stronger than ever.

Meanwhile, Elly is still finding motherhood a challenge and is severely sleep deprived. The boys insist she let them help and take care of Aster for the day, sending Elly out to her yoga class. The fun continues when Aaron gets the idea to stage an Anne Geddes-style photoshoot for Aster and Elly returns to find adorable baby photos. Finally feeling like part of the house, Elly settles in with the boys as loving helpers.

Elsewhere, wracked with guilt after stealing the Polaroid, Hendrix confesses his misdeed to Karl. Disappointed, Karl insists Hendrix return it immediately but Chloe catches Hendrix in the act. Furious Chloe tells Pierce, who in turn heads over to the Kennedys to give Hendrix a serve.

Pierce is confronted to see a guilty Hendrix crying with regret, and he feels hopeful that this final act of bad behaviour has given Hendrix the shock he needs to turn a corner. But Chloe's still furious, making a phone call that could ruin everything.

    Digital Spy article:

Neighbours to reference Australian bushfires in specially-filmed scene
The soap will make an extremely rare topic reference.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...-filmed-scene/

Neighbours has filmed a special scene addressing the Australian bushfires which will air today (January 15).

The soap's cast and crew only returned from their Christmas break on Monday but managed to shoot the scene at the earliest opportunity.

Neighbours confirmed to Digital Spy that the scene will feature characters Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) and Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson).

The scene will show the characters discussing the bushfires and a fundraiser auction Sheila is organising.

At the end of the episode, viewers will be directed to a page on the Channel 5 website where they can find out more information.

Fans online had been calling for the Australian soap to address the bushfires in some way.

It's extremely rare for Neighbours to edit in a scene to an episode reflecting a real-life event.

Previously, the soap made reference to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
