    Digital Spy's expanded spoilers:

    Monday 6 Jan

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...o-face-robert/

The wedge between Harlow and Paul intensifies as she and David plan to visit Robert in prison. Harlow wants Paul to come, at least to thank Robert for saving David's life, but Paul refuses – one good deed from Robert doesn't outweigh his history of murder and destruction.

Paul is left confronted when Terese claims he'll never find peace for himself if he can't accept Harlow's view of her father. Can Paul face his son?

Meanwhile, Susan is shocked to find Elly and Finn have feelings for each other and although they haven't acted on them, she warns them of the devastation this knowledge could cause Bea. If they can't control their feelings, Susan will be forced to tell Bea the truth.

Wracked with guilt, Elly is forced to make a painful decision. What does this mean for the Kennedys?

    Tuesday 7 Jan

Determined to take action before Bea gets hurt, Elly decides to move out – and into Number 32. But the shock decision rocks oblivious Bea and Karl.

Susan and Finn watch on, horrified that it has come to this. Elly must convince Bea and Karl to let her go, but how can she when she can hardly convince herself?

Meanwhile, Karl and Susan's infamous "blue box" ends up in the wrong hands when Hendrix mistakes it for a barbecue plate that Karl asked him to retrieve. Hendrix is astonished and highly amused when he discovers the contents but intends to put the cheeky goods back where he found them… until he changes his mind.

Elsewhere, Chloe is relishing her power-couple status with Pierce – until life as GM gets real – Lucy Robinson has set a slate of challenging targets that Chloe and the staff must hit.

Failure to reach them would result in the hotel losing its Lassiters brand. Does Chloe have what it takes? It looks like Lucy isn't so sure.

    Wednesday 8 Jan

Chloe is rattled after Pierce's revelation that Lucy wants her fired. Pierce convinces Lucy to give Chloe a chance to prove herself, but Lucy doesn't feel Pierce can offer an unbiased assessment of Chloe's performance and sends out a consultant, Anita, to report back.

With her confidence shaken, Chloe turns to old mentor Terese to help her impress Anita. Although she's forbidden to be involved with the hotel's dealings, Terese agrees – but this alliance could put Chloe's job in serious jeopardy.

Meanwhile, a conflicted Elly and Finn say goodbye as Elly moves her belongings into the Tanaka house. They vow to keep their distance so Finn can focus on his relationship with Bea and Elly can focus on being the best mum she can be.

However, when Aster is up all night crying and Elly fails to settle her, she's desperate to call Finn. But is Aster just the excuse?

    Thursday 9 Jan

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...other-setback/

Sheila realises Shane and Roxy have been getting up to some funny business and warns them to play by the rules.

Sheila can't help pointing out to Dipi that Shane and Roxy have gotten very chummy lately. Dipi begins to be concerned that Roxy is leading Shane astray.

Meanwhile, after being sprung working together, Chloe and Terese fight to save Chloe's job. But Chloe's not the only one doubting her abilities. Pierce takes stock of why he has fought to keep her as hotel manager. He admits that it's an uncomfortable truth, but it's because she is his wife. Chloe overhears – what does this spell for the happy newlyweds?

Elsewhere, Kyle has been rocked with one blow after the other, and is wallowing in post-break-up pity. Toadie tries to buoy him, offering Kyle a grand gesture of heading up the Buddy Club's mentor programs. But with his confidence shattered, Kyle can't see himself as a mentor for anyone. It's left to Gary to show his son the type of man he can be.

Also today, with Yashvi leaving for Sydney, she and Ned spend the rest of their couple time creatively – planning a mandala design to chalk out in the driveway of No. 30. But it becomes apparent to an observing Dipi that Shane's plan to wait for Yashvi to out grow Ned, isn't working.

    Friday 10 Jan

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...to-fight-back/

Chloe is crushed after overhearing Pierce's lack of faith in her as General Manager and confronts her husband over what she heard. She knows she has made mistakes but points out her managerial skills are achieving results. However, Paul is quick to prove her wrong and the wind is sucked out of Chloe's sails.

Trying to fix things, Pierce pitches the idea of Chloe taking an intensive management course to bring her up to task. Paul rallies against it, accusing Pierce of nepotism, and they do battle over Chloe once again.

Meanwhile, Kyle is still nervous about his ability to run the Buddy Club, but he Terese and Toadie decide to run a test of the Buddy Club before launching. Kyle suggests they do some woodworking. Terese and Toadie love the idea and Kyle is starting to think maybe he does have the chops for this.

Toadie is frazzled and overworked; Kyle offers to watch Nell and Hugo for him, starting to get more confident in his ability to take care of kids. Will Kyle manage to prove Amy's doubts wrong?

The whole thing with Hendrix stealing Karl and Susan's "toy" and passing it off as a cat toy was gold. Best part was Ned's response "what the hell's that!?"
