    Neighbours Spoilers 7th - 11th October2019

Only Mon & Tue TV listings Neighbours spoilers are available at the moment. I am away in Melbourne for the next few days, so I will update details/articles when I can:

    Monday 7 Oct

On his first day at school, Hendrix’s prank on Harlow backfires. Shane’s search for Grant*, Mackenzie’s father, proves successful when Grant contacts him and announces that he is coming to town. Fay turns up out of the blue, but the news is bad. She will soon need a full-time carer, which means that either Mark, Chloe or Aaron needs to move to Adelaide.

    Tuesday 8 Oct

Mackenzie’s first meeting with Grant goes badly, but after Shane takes Grant to task for his narrow-minded views, the two cautiously reach out to each other again. Scarlett tricks Ned into staying the night on her couch, making sure that Yashvi sees them and jumps to the wrong conclusion.

    Wednesday 9 Oct

Scarlett’s efforts are rewarded when Yashvi breaks up with Ned. Bea has her suspicions, but there is no time to voice them before Scarlett pulls another stunt. Paul and Terese return from their honeymoon to find a problem at Lassiter’s - a hidden camera has been discovered in one of the bedrooms.

    Thursday 10 Oct

Terese tries to hide the truth from Amy but soon buckles. Finn tells Shaun he fears he’ll never be free of his criminal record.

    Friday 11 Oct

The school prom is a disaster for Mackenzie, whose date, Hendrix, kisses two other girls, and then her dad fails to show.

    * I understand that Grant Hargreaves (Mackenzie’s dad) will be played by Paul Mercurio, who has been in many shows over the years including All Saints, Blue Heelers & City Homicide, but is best known for the movie Strictly Ballroom & being a judge on Dancing With The Stars (Aust).

I am back home in Sydney again! Digital Spy's expanded spoilers are available:

    Monday 7 Oct

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...art-at-school/

It's Hendrix's first day at Erinsborough High and he covers his nerves with his general brattiness. When Harlow rubs him up the wrong way, he takes matters into his own hands. Harlow has a presentation where she's planning to hand out positive affirmations and Hendrix pranks her, replacing them with sanitary pads. Harlow gets the last laugh, pointing out there's nothing embarrassing about periods.

Hendrix recovers from his put-down and approaches Mackenzie about the Butterfly Ball. He charmingly manipulates her into asking him to go as her date.

Meanwhile, Shane is thrilled when one of his leads on Grant Hargreaves looks like coming through. He has found Mackenzie's father's place of work and waits in nervous anticipation for a phone call from him. However, his hopes are dashed when he learns that Grant has left the store where he was last employed and left no forwarding details. His disappointment piques concern in Dipi, who suggests he take a step back and give it a rest. Dipi thinks he should be focusing on mending his strained relationship with Mackenzie and forget about finding her father.

Downcast, Shane agrees with her logic but his luck takes an unexpected turn when Grant contacts him out of the blue. Not only has he received Shane's messages, but he is coming to Erinsborough. How will Mackenzie deal with this huge news?

Elsewhere, Chloe, Mark and Aaron are worried sick about missing Fay and are about to get the police involved when Fay turns up on their doorstep. Their relief quickly turns to concern when it becomes clear that their mother is quite unwell. A visit from David brings devastating news – Fay's Huntingtons has progressed significantly and she is deteriorating quickly. They are told that Fay needs 24-hour supervision and know they can't expect Tyler and Piper to take on the full burden of carers.

As the three siblings contemplate who might move to Adelaide, Chloe volunteers, but Pierce encourages Mark to talk to his sister about her idea. Having a preview of her future will be terrible for Chloe. As they all head off to Adelaide to deal with this new life change as a family, Mark contemplates possibly leaving Erinsborough forever.

Grant is confronted by seeing Mackenzie and calls her 'Michael'. Mackenzie corrects him and they sit down, beginning a tentative conversation. Grant mentions that he knew Mackenzie's mother had died, so Mackenzie asks why he never tried to contact her. Grant is defensive – from his point of view, he didn't look for her because he wasn't sure what he would find. As far as Grant is concerned, Mackenzie is and always will be his son – a male. Wounded, Mackenzie flees.

Shane goes in to battle for Mackenzie and confronts Grant about his narrow-minded views. He says the most important thing about being a father is making sure your kids are happy and healthy. Grant is swayed by seeing how much Shane's attitude to the issue has changed. After being comforted by Yashvi and Harlow, a wary Mackenzie returns. Grant wants to start over and as a gesture, calls Mackenzie by her real name. Mackenzie sits down, giving her father another chance to be in her life.

Meanwhile, Scarlett makes it her mission to get Ned alone and seduce him. She claims she is being stalked by her violent ex-boyfriend. Ned believes her, but the police can't find any record of the guy entering the state. Still, Scarlett is scared to spend the night alone, so Ned offers to stay.

At the same time, Bea has become suspicious of Scarlett spending so much time with Ned. She urges Yashvi to make amends with Ned before he moves on to someone else, like Scarlett. When Kyle confirms that Ned has been missing Yashvi, she decides to pay him a visit.

Scarlett intercepts Yashvi's text to Ned, telling him she's coming over. Ned is asleep on Scarlett's couch, still shirtless after going for a swim. Scarlett strips down to her bikini and positions herself in Ned's arms. Yashvi arrives and looks into the house only to see Scarlett and Ned, scantily clad and apparently asleep together. Yashvi is devastated and flees. It's a massive win for the conniving Scarlett.

    Wednesday 9 Oct

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ve-a-showdown/

Ned is flummoxed when Yashvi furiously declares she saw Ned and Scarlett sleeping in each other's arms, half-naked. Ned has no idea what Yashvi is talking about, but is tired of how she seems to turn everything into a drama. Fuming, Yashvi refuses to be in a relationship with someone who isn't truthful with her – it's over. Scarlett is thrilled to learn of the break-up but is not so happy when Ned explains that he needs time alone.

Yashvi's heart is in tatters and Bea grows protective. She doesn't believe Ned capable of hurting Yashvi like this and strongly suspects Scarlett is behind it somehow. Finn urges Bea not to get involved, convinced Scarlett is on the level, but before Bea can talk to Ned, they're interrupted by Scarlett's terror – she has found a photo of herself in her locker with her eyes scratched out. She claims it's a threat from her ex. Bea watches the display suspiciously but Ned falls hook, line and sinker and pledges to protect her.

Meanwhile, Paul and Terese arrive home from their honeymoon, horrified to find the house messy and Roxy and Harlow bickering. Amy and Kyle prompt Harlow and Roxy to quit arguing and make amends. The girls send Terese and Paul off to lunch while they tidy up the house and when the newlyweds return, they're greeted with a clean house, champagne and their family to welcome them home.

Paul and Terese catch up on all that has happened in the last few weeks, lamenting Leo's departure with David and discussing their lunch with Pru with a cagey Harlow. Terese is eager to know how the hotel is going and Ned explains that, apart from some minor repairs which Amy is booked in to complete, everything is smooth sailing.

Paul and Terese are relieved to hear it but when Terese receives an urgent call from Lassiters, she and Paul rush to the hotel where a plumber has found a hidden camera in one of the rooms, aimed at the bed. Paul and Terese reel – someone has been spying on their guests.

    Thursday 10 Oct

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...-huge-scandal/

Paul is baffled at the discovery of a hidden camera, but Terese suspects it's a remnant of Ryan Prescott's scheme three years ago – he had hidden cameras in the hotel rooms, hoping to capture something he could use to extort Terese. Terese thought she took care of it, buying the footage and removing the cameras. Paul remembers the rumours, and thinks if this camera is a leftover, this is the best case scenario.

Launching into damage control, Paul and Terese cancel Amy's planned maintenance at Lassiters and call in a security team to check out the camera and comb the hotel for any more recording devices. Amy is surprised by the sudden cancellation and is suspicious when she recognises the workers at the hotel and knows them to be a bit shady – she concludes Paul must be in some sort of trouble.

Terese has garnered a list of guests who have stayed in the room and is horrified to see Amy and Kyle at the top of the list. Paul is against telling Amy until they know more, and Terese initially goes along with this to a suspicious Amy. But when Amy is still concerned, Terese buckles and tells her and Kyle about the camera.

Kyle is furious about the current situation but also what happened three years ago. He wants to go to the police, but Amy begs him not to, as it could be a career ending scandal for Terese. She'd rather give Paul a chance to track down the culprit, but Kyle is unswayed. He marches towards the police station, determined to report this gross violation.

Meanwhile, Shaun has latched onto a new idea for the Foundation, explaining to Finn there's a program he ran in Switzerland called the Buddy Club that pairs disadvantaged children with mentors. Reflecting on his future in Erinsborough, Shaun wonders if it's something he and Finn could replicate. Though he has reservations due to his criminal record, Finn agrees to let Shaun pitch the idea to Toadie. But despite Shaun's passionate presentation, Toadie's response is uncertain when he hears Finn would be involved. He'll have to look into what's possible.

Shaun remains hopeful, revealing to Finn how much he wants to work with him on this project – they have so many lost years to make up for. But when Shaun meets up later with Toadie, he is in for disappointment. While Toadie loves the buddy idea, there's no way he can get Finn police clearance to work with children.

    Friday 11 Oct

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...at-the-formal/

Excitement bubbles as Yashvi, Harlow and Mackenzie get ready for their school formal. It's going to be an amazing night, made better by a tentative thaw between Yashvi and Shane when they agree to honour their plans to dance with each other for the father-daughter dance. Mackenzie summons the courage to ask her own father to the dance. Grant is unsure at first, but Mackenzie is pleasantly surprised when Grant eventually agrees.

The girls tell their friends they're going to a supervised pre-party at their classmate's house, but then head off to a pre-drinks bash at the hotel, organised by Hendrix, which quickly turns into a rager.

When they all arrive at the formal, Mackenzie unintentionally brushes off a tipsy Hendrix to spend time with her girls, not aware she has left her date feeling rejected. She's shocked when he retaliates by kissing Olivia Lane, Lacy's sister, then forcing a kiss on Harlow, who slaps Hendrix for his trouble. Mackenzie's night slides further downhill when Grant is a no show for the dance. Yashvi encourages Shane to take Grant's place in the father-daughter dance.

Pierce is horrified by Hendrix's lack of understanding of consent by kissing Harlow, and when he learns of the damage Hendrix has done to the hotel room, he tears strips off him. Drunk Hendrix has had enough of Pierce's efforts to parent him and grabs the mic at the formal, publicly blasting Pierce, calling him a deadbeat dad and slandering Chloe. Pierce is mortified.

Meanwhile, Paul and Terese anxiously wait to hear if any footage has been recorded on the hidden device. Luckily, there is no memory chip on the camera and its wifi transmitter is fried. Relieved, Paul and Terese assume they've found one of the cameras placed by Ryan years ago that was missed in the original sweep of the rooms. They relay the news to Amy, who only narrowly stops Kyle from making a formal report to the police.

It looks as though the whole sordid matter has been put to bed, until we see a mystery person opening a video on a laptop of Amy and Kyle in the hotel room getting frisky.
