    Monday 23rd Sept

Unimpressed by Hendrix's inappropriate advances and certain that he's only acting out in a juvenile need for attention from his father, Chloe puts him in his place, then suggests Pierce spend some quality time with his son. Unsure how to connect with him, Pierce is relieved when Hendrix seems open to an afternoon on the golf course, complete with an expensive new set of golf clubs Pierce buys for him.

The time together seems to have bonded the two and Chloe is chuffed that her plan has worked. However, when Pierce pulls rank and prevents Hendrix going on a last-minute holiday to Noosa with his friends, Hendrix retaliates by throwing the new golf clubs in the lake. It's clear it's going to be a rough journey for Pierce to learn how to parent Hendrix.

Meanwhile, still upset at Ned for omitting how he spent time with Scarlett in Sydney, Yashvi is thrown when Scarlett tries to befriend her. Yashvi begins to come around to the new girl in town, unaware that sneaky Scarlett is quietly laying the groundwork to find weaknesses to exploit in the couple.

There's an empty room at the Tanaka house since Leo's departure and David is finally ready to fill it. This development provokes Kyle to float the idea of cohabitation with Amy, but he's disappointed to learn she is not ready to give up her own space. Scarlett, however, sees the empty room as the perfect opportunity to get closer to Ned. She works her magic during her interview and seals the deal by gifting Aaron and David a new fish for their tank.

After learning Scarlett is the new addition to Number 32, Ned's relieved Yashvi is cool with Scarlett now, surprising Ned further by explaining they're on their way to becoming friends. When Ned later takes a shower, Scarlett sneaks into the Willis house and covertly watches and takes photos of him.

Sheila is still smarting over her break-up with Clive and she's taking it out on everyone around her. In an effort to cheer her up, Roxy organises a surprise birthday party at the Willis house. Harlow and Ned help organise the event, while Kyle and Amy try and arrange for Clive to be there. Sheila gets wind of this and her hopes for a reunion escalate.

Roxy, hoping Mark will take her back, frantically drunk voice-mails him with invitations to the party. Scarlett takes the event as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for jealousy with Yashvi over Bea and Ned's friendship. The low-key shindig takes a turn when Hendrix shows up with some rowdy gatecrashers. Hendrix has posted an open invite to the event on social media.

Roxy is equally up for turning this into a rager, as she drowns her sorrows over Mark's absence in a lot of alcohol. Sheila is crushed when she realises Clive isn't coming. Then, the party gets totally out of hand and the police are called, including Mark. As Mark walks in, drunk Roxy jumps into his arms and kisses him, outing their affair to everyone.

Meanwhile, Shane and Mackenzie are still looking for Mackenzie's father Grant. Yashvi takes note of all the time they're spending together. She's feeling jealous and excluded by Shane and Mackenzie's father-daughter like relationship. At Sheila's party, Mackenzie meets Hendrix and is enjoying the fun of flirting with a cute boy. Her anxiety piques when she thinks about what to tell him and she flees the party.

Shane comes to her aid and Mackenzie explains her conflict over how much she has to reveal to potential romantic partners – when is the right time to tell them she's transgender? Shane encourages Mackenzie to do what feels right for her, which leads to her telling Hendrix the truth.

Hendrix is at first taken aback by the revelation, but ultimately feels it doesn't change anything for him – she's still the hottest girl at the party. It's a dream come true for Mackenzie, and as the night goes on, Mackenzie leans in for her first kiss.

Shaun surprises Finn, Karl, Susan and Bea by arriving on their doorstop, a day early. Finn tries to quell Bea's foul mood, but Bea only wants to lay into him about how asking Shaun to come was an overstep.

Shaun overhears their conversation and steps in, explaining that it isn't an overstep. Elly knew he was coming and was fine with it, because he is there to pull Finn into line. A reticent Finn recognises that he went overboard and Bea agrees. Finn is initially defensive but after explaining where he's coming from, they reconcile.

Meanwhile, the morning after is not kind to Roxy. As memories of her drunken affection for Mark come swirling back, she fears she has blown it. News of the romance hits the grapevine and Mark feels embarrassed about the flack he's copping for his uncharacteristic romance.

Confiding in Chloe, Mark feels frustrated and lost. His attempt to loosen up and have a bit of fun has blown up in his face. Roxy apologises for her blunder, but Mark feels like she made him look like an idiot and that their hook-ups were a mistake. Fed up, Mark calls it off.

Roxy is gutted, but things aren't so rosy for Mark – especially when he sees Shaun is back in Erinsborough. After a solo day drinking session, Mark rocks up on Roxy's doorstep and throws himself at her. Perhaps they're not over after all.

Elsewhere, when news breaks of Sheila's birthday being gatecrashed, Pierce and Chloe are shocked to find out Hendrix was behind the chaos. He shows no remorse for the trouble and damage he has caused and when Pierce tries to make him help in the clean-up, Hendrix refuses. Feeling totally out of his depth as a disciplinarian, Pierce goes to Karl and Susan for guidance and they give him a crash course in enforcing consequences.

Armed with new knowledge, Pierce orders Hendrix to give up his phone and credit card as punishment. He and Chloe are surprised when Hendrix hands it over without a fuss, suspecting they've finally gotten through it him. But no such luck – Hendrix is playing them and calls the bank to send him a replacement credit card. It's going to be a steep learning curve for the would-be father.

Hurting and desperate to silence a loneliness brewing inside, Mark tries to reignite things with Roxy. As he makes his plea, Mark is still drunk and Roxy doesn't let him off the hook easily. But Mark insists he was stupid to let the opinions of others get in his head and he doesn't want to lose Roxy.

Placated, Roxy embraces the man she wants, but news of their reunion causes Aaron and Chloe concern. They can tell Mark is lost and hurting and sit Mark down for a heart to heart, but he rejects their interventions. Defensive, Mark walks out and continues his hedonistic affair with Roxy, unaffected by Chloe and Aaron's mounting concerns. Mark is spiraling out of control.

Meanwhile, seeing his mum so broken-hearted over Clive, Gary is compelled to meet with the man and try and talk some sense into him. As the one most hurt by Sheila's actions, Gary implores Clive to forgive, reminding him that Sheila's love of her family is always what drives her. Moved by Gary's plea, Clive goes to Sheila and it looks as though a reunion is on the cards. However, Sheila is devastated when Clive drops a bombshell – he has already started seeing someone else.

Elsewhere, Shaun brings Finn around to Aaron and David to make an apology, which he does. Shaun then suggests that they take a baby-swaddling class together. Still wary of Shaun's intentions, David agrees and Aaron ends up coming along too. Tension simmers as they practice swaddling, but in the last section of the session, they open up and talk about their insecurities about parenting Elly's child. This is what truly breaks the ice and the four men start warming to each other.

    Friday 27th Sept

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ng-confession/

Shane continues to work with Mackenzie to track down her father, but Dipi is concerned that he's too focused on Mackenzie and neglecting his girls. When Shane gets a hot lead, Mackenzie is forced to contemplate the reality of facing the father who rejected her. While Shane comforts and reassures her, she remembers a painful moment with her father that resulted in him burning her feminine belongings.

Shane is privately shaken by the revelation, realising Grant's actions directly stemmed from his involvement. Dipi is sympathetic when Shane shares his guilt, but both know the truth will come out and Shane needs to tell Mackenzie the part he played in her father's estrangement before she hears it from anyone else.

Full of dread and shame, Shane confesses his involvement to Mackenzie, leaving her shattered to learn that her greatest defender was instrumental in causing one of the most painful moments of her life and destroying her family.

Meanwhile, David spies on Shaun. At Aaron's suggestion, he goes over to say hello but instead overhears an ambiguous but slightly menacing conversation about Elly. He approaches and Shaun acts shadily, covering documents in front of him. With suspicions aroused, David brings what he saw to Aaron, who isn't entirely convinced as he believes Shaun is making an effort. If they had evidence, however, it would be another matter.
