It's time to dry your eyes following Iain Dean's bittersweet exit as we've got a brand new batch of Casualty spoilers for you.

As the ED gets used to life without Iain, David faces some difficult challenges with Ollie, Rash has a point to prove with Ethan and new paramedic Lev throws a cat among the pigeons. Here are seven of the biggest stories hitting your screens next week....

1. David is struggling

Having agreed to let his teenage son live with him full-time, David starts to fear that he could be out of his depth.

As David struggles to bond with the schoolboy after his operation, Ollie's insolent starts to cause the nurse a number of problems – especially when it comes to juggling his responsibilities at the ED.

With David running late for work as a result, he is surprised to learn that Ollie has invited Rosa round to keep him company.

2. Rosa and Ollie are involved in an accident

After Rosa talks to Ollie about his angry outbursts, she enlists his help in handing out fliers – ignoring David's warning not to leave the house.

Unfortunately, disaster soon strikes on the pair's trip to the park when Rosa is knocked down by a pregnant woman on an electric scooter.

3. Ollie reveals his fears

When Ollie accompanies an injured Rosa into the ED, the truth behind his rebellious behaviour starts to come to light.

Following yet another run-in with David, Ollie later tells Rosa that he's scared he's inherited bipolar disorder from his dad as he can't seem to control his temper.

Although Rosa is quick to assure Ollie that mood swings are normal for teenagers, she implores him to raise his concerns with David – who is at a loss over how to handle his son.

4. Meet Lev!

Fans will be introduced to new paramedic Lev next week, but it's fair to say that he doesn't exactly get off to the best start. Uriel Emil has been cast in the role as Lev, who is set to take centre stage in a huge, new story that will run for nearly a year.

Ambulance boss Jan is miffed when Lev arrives late for work on his first day – until it becomes clear that he was saving some kittens. Can he win his new colleagues round?

5. David and Rosa play happy families

With Ollie desperate to help Rosa the way she has helped him, he comes up with a very bold suggestion when he learns the porter is being kicked out of her flat.

After (a fair bit of) some persuading, David eventually agrees that Rosa can move in with them – but gets more than he bargained when she brings a kitten along with her.

6. Rash has a point to prove

Having promised his struggling dad that he'll stay in Holby, Rash goes above and beyond to secure Ethan's recommendation.

Knowing he's treading on thin ice following tonight's episode, Rash is aware that he has a major point to prove when it comes to winning Ethan round.

With Rash determined to fight for his future at Holby, he is forced to hold his head high with Mason – who is still proving himself to be an accident waiting to happen...

7. Mason makes another mistake

Sure enough, Mason does indeed make another very big blunder next week, only this time, Rash won't take the blame.

Still refusing to take guidance from his seniors, Mason jumps the gun and diagnoses a fitness enthusiast with over-exertion – despite it being acutely clear that there is a far more sinister reason for his symptoms.

When Mason reminds his patient Joe that it's ok to struggle, he decides to take his own advice and admits to Ethan that his initial diagnosis was wrong.

Although an understanding Ethan lets him off lightly, Mason later confronts Rash when they are alone and accuses him of making him look bad. Will Rash stand his ground with Mason?
