Roxy and Mark didn't see that coming. Don't get the blackmail part though, both are single so not sure what the issue is

Digital Spy's expanded Neighbours spoilers are now available:

    Monday 26th Aug

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...earch-for-her/

The search for Sheila picks up when her car is found abandoned in a remote area of Gippsland. A fearful Kyle and Amy join the search party on the ground in Gippsland, while Gary stays home in case Sheila returns. Convinced his icy behaviour has driven Sheila away, Gary is desperate for her to come home in one piece.

Fortunately, Gary's prayers are answered when Sheila is finally found in the bush and brought to Erinsborough Hospital. Feeling sheepish about all the fuss she has caused, Sheila reveals she was on a mission to approach a potential business partner about Gary's botanical cocktails, an act she hoped would help pay off his debt and repair the rift between them. When her car conked out, Sheila went looking for help and got lost.

With Sheila safe and sound, Gary calls his cold war off and embraces his mum. The Cannings are finally getting back on the right track.

Meanwhile, Finn is elated when Toadie reveals the DPP has finally determined Alfie's assault claims to be false. The ankle bracelet comes off, leaving Finn and Bea eager to enjoy the wider world as a couple. But Chloe swiftly turns their romantic, celebratory brunch into a double date with her and Elly, insisting to Elly that everyone needs to try and get along for the sake of the baby.

Elly is hardly thrilled and Finn has his own reservations, especially when Chloe dials up her baby enthusiasm. Pierce comes across the foursome during their double date and Chloe, eager to show Pierce how well she and Elly are going, calls Elly her girlfriend. Elly's startled by the title and reminds Chloe she's still figuring out what this relationship means for her and the baby – she needs them to take things slowly.

Chloe agrees but is left concerned that once the baby comes, the time Elly has to explore her relationship with Chloe will vanish. Will Elly ever get to where she needs to be for them to have a real relationship?

    Tuesday 27th Aug

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ak-things-off/

'Girlfriend-gate' is dissected by Bea, who worries that Elly is not as into her relationship as Chloe is. Elly defensively insists everything is fine between them, while Chloe fears she and Elly are not on the same page. Chloe makes the gut-wrenching choice to break up with Elly now before things get too complicated. Shocked, Elly protests but ultimately can't argue against Chloe's concerns. It's bittersweet as the pair resolve to remain friends and end their romantic journey.

Sad and heartbroken, Chloe rallies herself to join in on Mark's birthday celebrations at the Back Lane Bar. She runs into Pierce, who genuinely feels for Chloe and the tough decision she has made. Pierce sticks around, hoping to pull Chloe out of her funk and David and Aaron watch the interaction with interest.

They point out to Chloe how compatible she and Pierce are, and while Chloe doesn't feel at all ready to move on from Elly, she turns thoughtful. Is there still hope for Chloe and Pierce?

At the same time, Elly makes plans to spend an evening with Bea and listen to the music she's working on. However, those plans are cut short when Finn interrupts and asks Bea to help out with the Foundation. Bea drops everything and is apologetic to Elly, who is privately annoyed at Finn.

Elly vents to Susan and Karl, concerned that Bea is wrapped around Finn's little finger and too willing to do what he wants. Karl and Susan aim to soothe her, claiming Bea is in the early stages of love, but Elly isn't satisfied. Her reservations about Finn and Bea still plague her.

Elsewhere, Roxy is torn up about the dire situation at the Back Lane Bar and feels guilty about the Abernethys' involvement. But that guilt quickly turns to anger and frustration at the police for the lack of progress they've made in their investigation. When she arrives at work and sees Mark celebrating his birthday, she berates him for partying instead of solving the case and getting the bar's money back.

Leo tries to reason with Roxy, but the tension escalates and Roxy ruins Mark's birthday when she tips a cocktail onto the crotch of his pants. Leo admonishes her petulance and demands she apologise to Mark, but Roxy is unwilling.

Later, when Aaron goes to check on Mark at Number 24, Mark insists he's tired and about to go to bed. However, when Aaron leaves, Roxy pops up from her hiding place, half naked and anxious to know if they're alone again. Mark answers with a steamy kiss and the pair get back to getting hot and heavy.

    Wednesday 28th Aug

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ith-a-warning/

Paul and Terese are caught up in the excitement of their upcoming wedding when Lyn Scully, another one of Paul's ex-wives, suddenly appears. Lyn explains that she has come to town to conduct interviews for the Retreat, but manages to find time to ruffle Paul and Terese's feathers. Grabbing a moment alone with Terese, Lyn adamantly warns her off marrying Paul, repeating what Gail said to her last week.

A frustrated Terese shares the bizarre coincidence with Paul, who grows determined to end his ex-wives' meddling. But when he confronts Lyn, she leaps at the chance to get inside Paul's head. She points out the common denominator in all his failed marriages is him and lays down a challenge: if Paul really loves Terese, he should end things. What will Paul do?

Meanwhile, Gary is frantically trying to dress himself for his second date with Gail, as Sheila and Amy watch on in horror at his fashion choices. Sheila is desperate to help but too afraid to interject, given how much she has meddled recently, and Amy feels too awkward as his ex to contribute. They resolve to use Kyle as a conduit for their advice and the plan works a treat.

The date goes very well for Gary, unaware that Paul has spotted him with his ex-wife. The thought of ruining their fun amuses him, but Paul refrains from telling Gary... for now. Gary returns home from his date and reveals he knew Sheila was behind the advice Kyle gave and is, for once, grateful for Sheila's interference. This recently fractured mother and son are finding their new groove.

Elsewhere, it's the morning after and Mark and Roxy wake up in bed together. Roxy's enjoying the thrill of a sexy dalliance with the local cop, but a slightly embarrassed Mark asks they keep last night on the down low. Roxy agrees, but the mystery remains as to how it happened in the first place.

Through a series of flashbacks, we learn Roxy arrived at Mark's doorstep with a peace offering, apologetic for ruining his birthday. She then fed him a sob story about Vance, hoping to get Mark onside to help move the Abernathy case along. But when Mark sympathises and begins telling Roxy the story about Elly, the pair find themselves opening up to each other, lamenting the exes that betrayed and hurt them. They get caught in a moment of unexpected connection that explodes into a passionate kiss.

Mark thinks they should keep last night to a one-time thing but as soon as he and Roxy are alone again, the chemistry becomes too much and they fall into bed together.

Also today, Leo's focus remains on the bar as Mark reveals they're not going to find the money in time for Leo and Roxy to save the bar. Is their dream over?

    Thursday 29th Aug

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...er-lyns-visit/

Paul refuses to be taken down by Lyn's words and accuses her of trying to get him back for herself. Lyn baulks at the suggestion as Paul warns her that she'll never convince himself or Terese to end things. However, when Paul has a vivid daydream about Terese leaving him, he's left rocked by the experience.

Terese notices his strange mood and assures Paul that soon they'll be married and honeymooning in Europe, away from his meddling exes. However, Lyn tells Sheila that Paul's luck is about to run out, suggesting she knows there's more trouble coming.

Meanwhile, Roxy is gutted to learn she and Leo are going to lose the bar. Desperate, Roxy is willing to go into business with Paul to stay afloat, but Leo tells her Paul will never agree as she's too inexperienced. Saddened, Roxy finds comfort with Mark and is able to get her mind off things by giving into some sexy fun with him. Mark maintains that they keep their trysts a secret and Roxy is happy to oblige – it's more fun that way.

Roxy's turnaround in demeanor in the face of the bar tragedy makes Harlow suspicious and when she catches Roxy exchanging a string of texts, she becomes intrigued. Roxy continues to receive salacious texts from Mark and Harlow happens to see one of them. Harlow's shocked by the discovery and Roxy panics that her secret is out. Harlow sees Elly entering the café and calls her over, teasing Roxy that she'll tell Elly about Roxy's fling with Mark. As Elly approaches, Roxy fearfully waits to see what Harlow will say. Will Harlow bust her secret?

Elsewhere, following her break-up with Elly, Chloe becomes a heartbroken cliché, bursting into tears and confining herself to her room with only Netflix and chocolate for company. Pierce clocks her hurt and admits to Amy that he wants to help Chloe out of her slump, but he's aware he's not the right person to help her given their history.

Later, Amy presents Chloe with a voucher for an extravagant shopping spree, which successfully gets Chloe out of the house. But Chloe quickly realises Pierce must've been behind the idea and is grateful for his friendship. Pierce is relieved to be getting closer to Chloe again, but will he be able to keep his true feelings at bay while she mends her broken heart?

    Friday 30th Aug

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...er-baby-scare/

With the wounds of their break-up still fresh, Chloe and Elly struggle to navigate a new normal. Elly continues texting and organising outings for the pair, intent on maintaining their friendship, but to Chloe, Elly appears to be acting as if their relationship never happened.

Trying to push past her hurt, Chloe takes Pierce up on his invite to a movie premiere. Looking forward to a night of glamour, Chloe dresses for the red carpet, only to learn Pierce has lined up something way more low-key – the moonlight cinema, complete with bean bags and a cheese spread.

As they laugh off the misunderstanding and settle in, their usual chemistry comes alive, making it difficult for Pierce to remember they're just friends. He sees Elly's constant texting is causing Chloe anguish and Chloe confides her complicated feelings about the break-up.

Pierce hates that Chloe's in pain and feels compelled to enlighten Elly as to the effect she's having. He runs into Elly at Lasstiers late at night and confronts her, unaware that Susan and Karl have already been telling Elly how she should handle her break-up.

Elly's sick of unsolicited advice and their exchange quickly becomes heated. Pierce storms off and as an emotional Elly walks up the stairs, she slips and falls on her tummy. Is her baby in peril?

Meanwhile, still smarting from her humiliation in front of Gail last week, Harlow is keen to capitalise on the secret she now holds over Roxy. She lays out a list of domestic duties for Roxy to take over, but most incensing of all is that she gets full custody of Hermione. It's galling to Roxy – Harlow doesn't even have her licence. But Roxy has no bargaining power and must cave to a smug Harlow's demands.

Elsewhere, Yashvi is stoked to be getting a car off the back of last week's negotiation with her parents, but when Ned lets slip that moving into the Willis house was never an option for Yashvi, Shane realises he has been duped by his daughter. Shane vents his frustration to Dipi about the person Yashvi is becoming, declaring he doesn't see a lot to like about her. Little does Shane know, Yashvi overhears his damning assessment and is crushed.

The trouble at home throws Yashvi off her game at school and she flunks an important English assessment. New student Mackenzie suggests Yashvi should ask Elly if she could sit the essay again. Mackenzie's advice is a winner and Yashvi gets her second shot, but she's still feeling blue about what Shane said. The rift between father and daughter is only growing wider.

this bit is quite good and less seedy than they are trying to make it. Sexy daliance, tryst etc etc. This is two vulnerable people finding comfort with each other.

This bit, however, is not good.

Harlow sees Elly entering the café and calls her over, teasing Roxy that she'll tell Elly about Roxy's fling with Mark. As Elly approaches, Roxy fearfully waits to see what Harlow will say. Will Harlow bust her secret?

Of all people, Mark's ex wife who cheated on him and dated his sister. She has absolutely no say in his life. Roxy shouldn't be fearful and Harlow seems smart enough (so far) to be above this - or at least find someone a bit more relevant.

Agree who Mark sees is none of Ellie's business. Also despite her sometimes prickly character Roxy is a much better person than Ellie. Ellie strikes me a holier than thou hypocrite and wholly unlikeable
