Casualty will be airing a double bill feature-length episode for its series finale next month.

The BBC medical drama will air 90 minutes of non-stop drama on Saturday, August 10, as the show's current series comes to a dramatic conclusion.

Casualty was taken off air at the last minute on Saturday, July 6 when a Wimbledon match overran.

Casualty's mega series finale episode will air from 8.40pm until 10.10pm on Saturday, August 10 on BBC One. The new series will kick off the week after on Saturday, August 17.
