Leanne tells Imran that, with Steve now intent on stopping her appeal, she wants to sue the hospital for negligence.

Imran and Elliot break the news to Leanne that they're no longer prepared to represent her.

Meanwhile, Johnny confides in Jenny how seeing Peter hit the bottle has brought home how he ruined the life of the security guard all those years ago as he too turned to alcohol. Jenny urges him to forget about it but later, Carla finds Jenny in tears.

Elsewhere, Peter assures Carla that their relationship is strong. At the same time, Adam implores Sarah to give him another chance.

Also, Tim apologises to Yasmeen for failing to believe her. When Tim reveals that he has agreed to stand as a witness for the defence, Geoff is horrified.

Finally, Todd invites Summer for dinner at Number 11. When Summer declines and explains they're having a game night, Todd suggests he could join them.

Leanne rails at Imran and Elliot and resolves to find another lawyer to take over her case, but after phoning solicitor after solicitor, they all refuse to take on her case.

When Toyah reveals how hard it was for Imran to reach his decision, Leanne's livid accuses her sister of stabbing her in the back.

Meanwhile, Jenny fills Carla in on Johnny's crimes. Later, Carla quizzes Johnny about his past and assures him they've both done things they regret.

Elsewhere, Sarah asks Adam if he fancies a drink and later they meet at the Bistro, but can the pair work things out?

Also, Alya visits Yasmeen and tells her how Tim is willing to stand as a witness.

Finally, Billy, Paul, Summer and Todd meet for supper at Speed Daal. As Billy, Paul and Summer head out, Todd surreptitiously calls a mate.


Wednesday 25 November 2020 at 19:30 on ITV

Dr Howarth tells Steve and Leanne that they're running some blood tests as they're concerned about Oliver's liver function.

Later, Leanne calls at the solicitors' office and begs Imran to help her with the case just as a friend. When Imran refuses, Leanne pushes over a filing cabinet and locks the door.

Meanwhile, Margaret calls at The Rovers and explains to Jenny that she's the mother of the security guard who was injured in the hit and run. Johnny confesses that he was responsible for her son's death.

Elsewhere, Ray calls at Speed Daal and offers to buy Number 6 from Geoff at a knockdown price. Ray reminds Debbie that they need to get their hands on as many houses as they can before their plans go public.

Also, Peter calls at the factory with some lunch for Carla, but when Sarah reveals that she has gone out, Peter is left suspicious.


Wednesday 25 November 2020 at 20:30 on ITV

Having barricaded them into the office, Leanne orders Imran to call Elliot. Having been summoned by Imran, Nick and Toyah implore Leanne to let them in. Imran drags the filing cabinet out of the way and opens the door.

In the hospital, Oliver suddenly arrests. Steve implores Leanne to put an end to Oliver's suffering and let him die with dignity. Leanne announces to Steve and Toyah that she has dropped her appeal.

Meanwhile, Jenny begs Margaret not to go to the police, explaining that Johnny suffers from MS. Carla finds Jenny in tears as she reveals that Margaret is now likely at the police station.

Elsewhere, Ray tells Debbie that he has persuaded Geoff to sell him Number 6. Geoff reveals to Alya that he has changed his mind ? he's selling the house and moving to Cyprus. When Ryan reveals that according to the satnav in the van, Geoff has been frequenting Oldham, Alya wonders if it's something to do with Elaine's disappearance.

Also, Peter quizzes Carla, wondering where she disappeared to.


Friday 27 November 2020 at 19:30 on ITV

Leanne stares bleakly at Steve, knowing today's the day they say goodbye to their son. Leanne insists she must go home and get Oliver's favourite pyjamas.

At home, Nick gently persuades Leanne that it's time they returned to the hospital to say goodbye. Leanne admits she can't do it.

Meanwhile, Johnny fails to make Jenny accept that he's almost certainly going to prison. Jenny tells Johnny that her step-daughter Daisy has called and she and her boyfriend are coming for lunch. Johnny realises he'll have to do something drastic to get her to face the music and announces he wants a divorce.

Daisy and her boyfriend Lee arrive for lunch. Johnny tells Daisy about Aidan's death, his affair with Liz and how Jenny tried to run her over. Daisy quietly enjoys Jenny's discomfort.

Elsewhere, Alya clocks a furtive Geoff arriving home with an overnight bag. Alya calls at Number 4 and shares her suspicions about Geoff with Tim and Sally. While Geoff's out, they search his house for an address in Oldham. But suddenly they're interrupted, what is Geoff's secret?


Friday 27 November 2020 at 20:30 on ITV

Having returned to the hospital, Steve and Leanne sit at Oliver's bedside singing ?You are my Sunshine'. Nick and Tracy listen from the hospital corridor, their hearts breaking.

The singing stops and they know that Oliver has died. Having returned home, Leanne curls up on Oliver's bed and sobs her heart out.

Meanwhile, Jenny insists Daisy and Lee stay for dinner. Johnny and Jenny's row escalates but they're interrupted by the arrival of the police, who tell Johnny they're arresting him on suspicion of burglary and GBH.

Elsewhere, Geoff orders Alya and Tim out of his house.
