Holby City will be airing a special episode to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week next month.

The scenes, due to air on Tuesday, May 14, will explore Chloe Goddard's private mental health battle in the wake of her discovery about Ange and Dom.

We've already revealed how there's a sad story ahead for Chloe after she learns the truth about Dom's connection to her in next week's episode (May 6).

As Chloe struggles to deal with the life-changing revelation that Dom is her brother, viewers will learn that she has a history of mental health problems, which will start to come to the forefront again.

The episode will also air an important update on Sacha Levy's own mental health, following his battle with depression over the last few years.

There will also be a guest story exploring the phenomenon of horse therapy for anxiety and depression.

Holby City will air its special mental health episode on Tuesday, May 14 at 8pm on BBC One.
