    Exclamation Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu)

He has become smitten with mother of two Sarah Platt, while in an on-off relationship with Faye Windass on Coronation Street.

But Seb Franklin's head is set to be turned by another woman as actor Harry Visinoni filmed scenes with new face on the street Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu).

Sultry Alina is set to catch Seb's eye when he heads to fix a burst pipe with a toolbox in hand.

It is unclear how many episodes Ruxandra will appear in and MailOnline has contacted a Coronation Street representative for a further comment.

Ruxandra looked delighted to be filming as she cracked a relaxed smile inside the nail bar, before wrapping up in a black and orange quilted jacket between takes.

Harry looked dapper in a khaki green jacket and jeans, paired with a pink shirt.

Seb is set for a turbulent time of time after becoming embroiled in a spat with loanshark Gary Windass (Mikey North) before the roof collapse.

Gary discovered that Sarah Platt cosied up to Adam Barlow after a drunk night out that saw the man try to kiss her.

While fans have speculated whether Sarah will end up having an affair with Seb Franklin, who was the first person to see her leaving Adam's flat.

After Sarah helped him when he was punched by Adam, the teen becomes smitten with the mother of two.

While Gary is also set to become the soap's latest villain as he takes on the role of a loan shark.

CORONATION Street is to feature a shocking storyline about modern slavery.

Bosses have hired actors to play an Eastern European gang including Romanian-born Ruxandra Porojnicu, who plays victim Alina.

Cobbles favourite Seb Franklin, played by Harry Visinoni, 19, will fall for the nail salon worker unaware of the squalid conditions she is forced to live in.

He will find himself dragged into the murky underworld of modern slavery when he tries to expose her gangmasters.

A source on the ITV soap said: “It’s a really gritty storyline but based on real issues thousands face in the UK every day.

“Coronation Street researchers have been working closely with the Salvation Army, which the government chose in 2011 to help those in need because of slavery.

“Since then more than 8,000 survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking have come in to their care.”

Show veteran Eileen Grimshaw, played by Sue Cleaver, 55, will also get caught up in the drama, to be aired in spring/summer, as she starts dating Polish builder Jan.

Kathy Betteridge, of Anti Trafficking and Modern Slavery at The Salvation Army, said: “The key to combating this horrific problem is for people to understand what it looks like.

Coronation Street will no doubt be of great help in this.”

Did they not do this storyline a couple of years ago involving Eva, Aidan and the knicker factory?

So are we going to pander to the extreme right and blame it all on the Polish worker? I really hope Jan actually turns out to be the hero of the piece, otherwise I will be extremely annoyed and disturbed.

With you, parkerman but I think that as he is linked with Eileen, he will not be the good Samaritan ... guess he is the puppet master but would be happy to be corrected

Coronation Street's Seb Franklin demands answers from Jan Lozinski next week after discovering his possible link to Alina Pop's modern slavery ordeal.

Big spoilers for next week's episodes have revealed that Seb (Harry Visinoni) is about to uncover the truth about Alina's situation, but it's just the beginning of a big new chapter in the storyline.

When Seb learns that Alina has lied to him about leaving her job at the nail bar, he wants to know why she's avoiding him and heads over there for an explanation.

Seb sneaks round the back of the salon and is shocked to find Alina sitting on an old mattress. It immediately dawns on Seb that this is her home and he's shocked by the poor conditions.

When Alina's dangerous boss Rachel interrupts, Seb hides and is horrified to hear a tense exchange between them. Rachel warns Alina that if she doesn't start behaving, there'll be serious consequences for her and her family.

Once Rachel is gone, Alina insists to Seb that she's grateful to Rachel for giving her a job and a home. Failing to accept the reality of the situation, she explains that once her debt is paid off, she'll be able to send money home to her family.

Seb is appalled to learn that Rachel and her husband are people traffickers, but Alina urges him to leave the situation alone before he gets hurt.

Ruxandra Porojnicu, who plays Alina, explained: "When Alina sees Seb turning up at the nail bar, in her room and discovering her situation, all she thinks about is the danger he is putting himself in. He's risking his life, without even knowing.

"For Alina this is a critical moment. She feels so much guilt for getting Seb in this situation that she will do anything to get him out safe, even if that means not seeing him again."

Discussing Alina's backstory, she continued: "Alina is the girl who sees the good in everyone and she chose to look past Rachel's harmful and wicked behaviour, because she still has hope that everything will turn out the way she has planned and she will be able to help her family.

"Like so many other people from poor backgrounds, Alina decided to leave her home in Romania and go to Poland to work for more money.

"However, after a few months she still had no job and that's when she met Nikolai, who offered her a way out. She is being told that in the UK she will have a job, a place to sleep and will make enough money to help her family."

When Seb lurks behind the nail bar later on, he's shocked to see Jan emerging from the business and wonders what the builder is up to.

Later in the week, Seb calls back to the nail salon to confront Rachel in person this time, warning that he knows her game and he'll be watching her.

Rachel shares her concerns over this situation with Jan, before calling her husband to deal with Seb.

Continuing to manipulate the situation, Jan later tells Seb to accept that Alina is not interested in him and he should move on. However, when Seb's mum Abi spots Jan getting into Rachel's car, she reports this back to her son as yet more evidence of Jan's guilt.

Seb ends up confronting Jan in front of his partner Eileen Grimshaw. Jan covers by claiming that he has only just found out about the human trafficking himself, so won't be working for Rachel anymore.

Eileen insists that the police need to be called in to deal with it, but Seb and Jan both refuse to entertain the idea as it would put Alina in danger. Has Jan managed to talk his way out of trouble, convincing Seb that they're on the same page?

I was really hoping that Jan would turn out to be the hero of this story, perhaps as a former gang member who was now trying to bring down this gang from within and Paula was his contact on the legal side of things. It just seems very disappointing that Eileen is in a relationship with another "baddie" and that Seb can't have a nice, normal relationship after all he's been through. Also, it creates a very negative perception of Eastern Europeans, in a society where the majority are just trying to get on with their lives.
