Neighbours confirms another cameo as Hanson film scenes on set

Neighbours has confirmed that legendary boyband Hanson will be the latest celebrities to make a cameo on the soap.

A tweet from the official Neighbours Twitter account on Monday (February 25) confirmed the famous 'Mmmbop' singers will make a cameo appearance in a forthcoming episode of the Australian soap.

"Look who stopped by to shoot some scenes today!" the tweet read. "Make sure you keep watching to see Hanson take on Erinsborough!"

Hanson's cameo comes as a number of other famous faces are set to pop up in the soap, from popstar Jess Glynne to Loose Women presenter Janet Street-Porter.

While Jess will only appear in a short scene alongside Stefan Dennis (Paul Robinson) and Bonnie Anderson (Beatrix Nilsson), Janet has confirmed that she gets a few lines.

"When I was in Australia I flew to Melbourne and I have a role in Neighbours! I get to play myself, I have more than one line," Janet revealed on Loose Women.

"I’m not allowed to say any more, we are keeping it very, very secret. I spent the whole day on the sent. I went all round the set."

This isn't the first soap appearance for Janet either, as she also appeared in Hollyoaks last year alongside Linda Robson at Russ and Mercedes' wedding.

Neighbours airs weekdays on Channel 5.
