Over on Hollyoaks, there's still hope for James Nightingale and Harry Thompson's future as a couple.

James (Gregory Finnegan) rejected Harry yet again last week, realising that he needed to focus all of his efforts on building bridges with his long-lost son Romeo Quinn.

Later this month, James struggles to bond with Romeo and there are no prizes for guessing who kindly steps in to help him – Harry (Parry Glasspool).

This gives Harry fresh hope of a reunion with James, but the lawyer sticks by his original decision and insists that he has to concentrate on Romeo.

Putting his own romantic dramas to one side for a moment, Harry also sends an "I love you" text to Holly Cunningham from his best mate Zack Loveday's phone, hoping to get them together.

When Holly doesn't text back, Harry and Zack both make a pact to move on with their lives – and Zack even decides to set up Harry on a blind date with a guy called Vernon.

As James discovers that Harry won't wait around for him forever, he springs into action and crashes Harry's date to confess his love – with the help of Romeo. Is it finally time for 'Jarry' to get together properly?

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Monday, January 21, Tuesday, January 22 and Wednesday, January 23 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
