Digital Spy's expanded Neighbours spoilers for 26th - 30th November are now available:

    Mon 26 Nov

Susan is released on bail and deals with the fallout of her decision to tell Detective Shaw everything. Karl is frustrated that she put herself in the firing line, but Susan maintains that she couldn't live with herself if she hadn't been honest. She apologises to Bea for breaking her promise and Bea is understanding, wanting to make sure Susan is okay.

Bea's concern isn't shared by the rest of the Ramsay Street residents and Sheila gives Susan the cold shoulder, upset at her friend for entangling Xanthe in her cover-up. Trying to focus on something positive by making sure the school is taken care of, Susan organises for Elly to take over as principal until she knows what she's facing.

Later, Susan is left deflated when the department suspends her indefinitely and decides Elly won't be stepping up either. Susan's guilt is piqued, knowing her school will be led by a stranger.

Meanwhile, Amy, Leo and Terese's scheme to distract Paul from his heartbreak gets under way with a new hotel guest – none other than Jane Harris, who believes she's here on business. Paul is delighted to see her and is happy to let her stay in the penthouse after an apparent 'electrical problem' means Jane is without a bed for the night.

Terese, Leo and Amy are pleased that their plan seems to be working, until Paul starts to get suspicious. When he realises the 'electrical problem' is non-existent, dubious Paul confronts Terese – it's unfair of them to use Jane to try and placate him.

Amy attempts to convince Paul they had his best intentions at heart. Noting Jane is a good woman who could pull him from his destructive path of revenge, Amy urges Paul to open his heart and choose happiness.

    Tue 27 Nov

After an insensitive remark from Amy, Terese worries that the age gap between her and Leo will pose a serious problem in their relationship if he ever decides he wants children – despite his assurances that he has no interest in being a father.

Piper calls her out, challenging Terese to admit that she's letting other people's opinions about their relationship interfere with her own feelings. Vulnerable, Terese shares her fears with Leo.

Meanwhile, challenged by Amy to choose happiness over spite, Paul reignites his friendship with Jane but resists the opportunity to take it further. Nonetheless, a late night spent reminiscing leaves him in a good enough mood to stop antagonising his children… for now.

On a dinner date with Jane, Paul can't help but find himself drawn to Terese. But after realising Terese doesn't feel any jealousy towards him and has truly moved on, he finally considers doing the same with Jane.

Elsewhere, Aaron brings up the subject of children with David, reasoning they have so many steps to take before they become parents, so they should start making decisions now. They consider their options, deciding to pursue a surrogate, but they can't decide which of them should be the donor.

Also today, Elly is running late and rushes to school, but the damage is done when she's caught arriving late by her new boss – Jane.

    Wed 28 Nov

Hearing that Aaron and David are planning for children and that they've decided to use Aaron's DNA, Chloe panics. Still afraid to come clean about her Huntington's diagnosis, Chloe subtly plants the idea that David should be the donor instead. When her attempts fail, Chloe becomes uncharacteristically distraught.

Realising she's only delaying the inevitable, Chloe finally tells her brothers the truth – that she has the gene for Huntington's Disease, and they might too.

Meanwhile, Alice panics when she overhears Sonya and Toadie talking about their attempts to track down Andrea's mother. Alice fishes for information and learns that Paul's private detective is sending some pertinent information to the law office – it will be slipped under the door late at night. Racing to intercept the sensitive info, Alice is surprised by Piper. Desperate, she sneaks up behind Piper and cracks her over the head, stealing the information and leaving Piper unconscious.

Elsewhere, Elly hopes to redeem herself in Jane's eyes. Jane recruits Dipi to the PTA, wanting passionate and proactive parents in her corner as she reshapes the school with a focus on student support and excellence. Elly is on board with this new direction, but when Jane brings up addressing the school's dress code, Elly is mortified to learn that Jane isn't referring to the students… she's referring to Elly's unprofessional work outfits.

    Thurs 29 Nov

Piper is unconscious as Alice stages a break-in at the law office. She's about to flee the scene with the PI's info, but spots Ned coming her way. Thinking quickly, she pretends that she's just discovered Piper as Ned rushes to help his sister.

At the hospital, Karl assures the Willis family that a concussed Piper will be fine. Everyone assumes the break-in was some juvenile delinquents, but Piper is not so sure.

Alice is praised by Toadie and Sonya for her efforts in helping Piper and scaring off the robber. Alice destroys the document she's stolen and creates her own, orchestrating for Toadie to find it during the office clean-up. Toadie and Sonya are shocked to learn that Andrea's mum is 'dead'.

With that obstacle dealt with, Alice secretly plays her trump card. She throws out her remaining painkillers, preparing to cut an unwitting Sonya off, cold-turkey. Alice gleefully warns Hugo that Sonya is about to suffer terribly.

Meanwhile, the Brennan family are rocked by Chloe's news. David struggles through his own shock and devastation to support his husband's family, while Elly makes sure she's there for Chloe.

Eager to know whether he's fated to suffer from the disease too, Mark books himself and Aaron in for a genetic test. But Aaron's fear and uncertainty take hold. He'd rather continue living life not knowing and refuses the test – a decision that leaves David shaken.

    Fri 30 Nov

Capitalising on the 'death' of Andrea's mum, Alice manipulates Toadie into believing that he should visit Andrea and break the news in person. She also plays on Sonya's insecurities that Toadie is now just looking for excuses to see Andrea again.

Alice's meddling comes to fruition, as Sonya confronts Toadie and demands he abandon his trip to visit Andrea. A fight erupts, leaving an upset Sonya fleeing the house.

Witnessing her unravelling, Dipi and Shane are increasingly concerned about Sonya's state of mind. While Alice continues to play Sonya and Toadie off against one another, Sonya starts to feel physically unwell – but she's unaware that withdrawal effects are beginning to take hold. Everything is going to plan for Alice, but will she really get away with her fiendish scheme?

Meanwhile, after Finn violated her privacy by reading her therapy notes, Bea has turned to writing as an outlet. However, she's confronted when Ned accidentally picks up her journal. Bea flares angrily out of panic, leading to more awkwardness between the pair. Yashvi and Xanthe encourage Bea to finally let Ned know how she feels about him.

Bea bravely leaves her journal at Lassiters for Ned to read – with the pages about him bookmarked. Ned is moved to read her words and rushes to Bea. Nothing else needs to be said as Ned sweeps her into a passionate kiss – it looks like there's a new couple on Ramsay Street.

Elsewhere, Sheila is excited to head off to New Zealand on a surprise trip to meet Clive's family, but doesn't let Xanthe help her pack. She's cool with her granddaughter, still stung that Xanthe didn't feel she could come to her during the Finn crisis.

Realising what's at the heart of Sheila's hurt, Xanthe reaches out to Sheila and the two make amends.
