EastEnders has cast 2Point4 Children star Julia Hills as a new character on the soap.

The actress will be guest-starring in the programme for a number of episodes in the coming weeks, playing the larger-than-life choir leader, Morag.

A big personality, Morag is set to upset a few characters as she attempts to lead Walford's Christmas Choir to victory in a local competition.

Bossy and boastful, it doesn't take long for Morag to find herself on the wrong side of some of Walford's residents.

She makes her first appearance when Ian Beale attends choir rehearsals, hoping that his ex-wife Mel (who he still has feelings for) will be there.
