Over on Hollyoaks, Mercedes McQueen is all smiles as she prepares to marry Russ Owen, unaware that he's hiding a huge secret from her.

The Channel 4 soap have released first look pictures at the pair's big day, which has been granted an hour-long slot.

The pictures show Mercedes looking radiant as she arrives at the church, oblivious to the fact that Russ cheated with her cousin Goldie last month.

Of course, viewers know that Mercedes isn't entirely innocent herself as she's also hiding an infidelity secret after sleeping with Sylver while they were in Magaluf.

Determined to put the past behind her, Mercedes is feeling nostalgic on the morning of the wedding as she reminisces about her failed marriages – optimistic that this one will be different.

Mercedes is elated as she walks out of the wedding car and into the ceremony, which features Loose Women pair Janet Street Porter and Linda Robson as wedding guests.

But will Mercedes and Russ's wedding go off without a hitch? Or are all their secrets implode? Given we've been promised 60-minutes of unmissable drama, we're banking on the latter...

Monday

Russ's cheating is close to being exposed
Will Mercedes figure it out?

Mercedes is suspicious when she receives earrings instead of the necklace she was expecting from Russ and confronts him. Russ covers, but desperately rings Goldie asking for her to hide the necklace.

Later, as Russ is trying to get the necklace from Goldie, Mercedes walks in and wants answers.

Meanwhile, Harley tells Peri that she quit school. They have an argument and Harley admits that she's jealous of her relationship with Tom and Steph. Peri confides in Tom, who suggests that they should include Harley in their play dates.

Elsewhere, Sinead has set up a meeting for Laurie with Sally at the school. At the same time, Laurie asks for Sami's legal advice about the threats he's been receiving. Later, Sinead pulls on Sami's heartstrings and he decides to help Laurie.

Also today, Jack asks Breda to look after Charlie who is off school with a cold – all part of his plan to woo her. Charlie knows what Jack is up to and tells him to just ask her out.


Tuesday

Tom makes a big discovery about Harley
Will he be able to help her?


Peri asks for Tom's help when Harley walks out on her.

Tom talks to Harley and finds out that she can barely read or write.

Meanwhile, Lisa Loveday returns to Hollyoaks but Simone is confused when Lisa thanks her for sorting out her flight home. At The Dog, Simone can tell that something is wrong and Lisa admits that she met a guy in Thailand but things didn't end well.

Louis is equally confused when Lisa thanks them for the flights, leaving everyone wondering who brought Lisa home. Zack receives an anonymous letter in the post, telling him to withdraw his statement against Liam or they'll kill Lisa.

Elsewhere, Jack asks Breda on a date but she misunderstands and thinks it's a meeting about the children's progress. When Jack explains the mix-up, Breda agrees to go on a proper date.

Also today, Mercedes questions why Goldie is so miserable at her pre-wedding festivities.


Wednesday

The Lovedays try to keep Lisa safe
Will their mission be successful?

Zack locks Lisa in the house to keep her safe, while Simone goes to the police, but Lisa escapes.

Lisa is home again when Simone and Zack return from looking for her, but all her clothes have been destroyed and she wants to know what's going on.

Meanwhile, Russ loses his tempter with Max, which Breda sees.

Elsewhere, Jack's excited about his date, but Breda tells Sylver she's too busy to be dating.

Also today, Grace tells Jesse that Courtney is meeting with social services about Iona and he rushes to help her.


Thursday

Courtney gets big news on Iona's future
Are things finally getting better?

Courtney is angry that Jesse turned up at the social services meeting pretending to be her boyfriend.

Eventually, Courtney is allowed to look after Iona again, but she's angry that she's had to lie. Jesse and Courtney have a fight.

Meanwhile, it's awkward when Breda and Jack bump into each other. She eventually apologises and asks Jack to be her plus one at Mercedes's wedding.


Friday

Mercedes and Russ's wedding day arrives
Will it go according to plan?

It's Mercedes and Russ's wedding day. Mercedes reminisces about her failed marriages and is optimistic that this one will be different.

Father Dan can't do the service, so Cleo asks Joel to officiate the wedding. Mercedes is elated as she gets out of the wedding car.

As the ceremony starts, Janet Street Porter and Linda Robson arrive – they are guests at the wedding but they're late.

Meanwhile, Joel tells Cleo the truth about his kiss with Goldie, and she is heartbroken that she wasn't the last person he kissed before going back to the priesthood. He wants to still be friends with Cleo, and gives her a kiss.

Elsewhere, Liam receives a delivery of poison, labelled karma, and has Grace tied up in the office. He orders her to call the other WAGs and ties them all up when they arrive. He plans to give them all a cocktail, but only one will have the poison in.
