Something more has to happen here. We know Tyler isn't coming back permanently. Does Piper leave with Tyler when he is released?

Why have Cassius on the opening credits for a few months?

Would Tyler refuse and stick to him killing Hamish so Piper and Cassius cam be together thus sacrificing himself?

This all can't be this is the end of Cassius. It could be in which case credit to the Producers for the Credits distraction

Anyway if this is the end for Cassius its way too soon. Could have made it finale worthy

Plus I wanted him to get away. Dunno why he would choose Senegal too. Better countries to flee to

Cassius is gone. Probably in the opening credits to divert suspicion. Tyler would not do that and no way Piper stays with the guy who killed Hamish and is responsible for Tyler being in jail. It's possible that Piper leaves to be with Tyler but haven't heard any rumours of the actress leaving

Yeah. I just wish they didn't end it so soon and when they did end it that Cassius got away. He doesn't deserve jail.

Neighbours did good putting him in the credits to divert suspicion. Huge props for that.

Cassius does deserve jail. He murdered someone.

Cold blooded deliberate murder. Yes there are mitigating circumstances but he will get jail time.

DigitalSpy's expanded spoilers for 8th - 12th Oct are now available:

    Monday 8 Oct

Piper finds an agitated Cassius at a motel near the airport and pushes him for answers. Under her questioning, distraught Cassius confesses everything. As a stunned Piper tries to get her head around the earth-shattering revelation, she seemingly comes to sympathise with what Cassius has done.

However, when the police descend on the motel, Cassius realises she's been stalling him because she called the police herself – it's all over.

Meanwhile, Bea becomes overwhelmed while searching for Piper, thinking of the parallels between her predicament and the one she was in with Finn. Despite the urgency to get to Piper, Ned is forced to halt the search to care of upset Bea.

Elsewhere, Terese thanks Leo for looking out for her at this time of crisis, helping Leo feel stronger about their secret relationship.

Also today, when Chloe heads off to meet an anonymous date, she's surprised to find herself meeting with Pierce, who's booked under a different name. He won't take no for an answer.

    Tue 9 Oct

Cassius learns that Elissa has been arrested as an accessory to his crimes. He refuses to say anything to the police, trying to bargain for a deal to save his mum. The detective refuses the offer, leaving Piper and the Brennans despairing.

Desperate to get through to Cassius, Piper confronts him in the interview room and begs him to talk. If he's really the good person he says he is, now is the time to prove it by confessing.

Meanwhile, as the Brennans learn of Cassius's involvement in Hamish's death, thought immediately turns to Tyler and getting him released from prison. Sonya urges Mark to get in contact with Toadie, who will get the legal ball rolling as soon as possible. With relief, the family come together after Piper gets Cassius to open up, confident that in a short time, Tyler will be with them.

Elsewhere, Mishti finally hears back from Pavan, who officially calls off the engagement. Mishti unleashes her devastation on Dipi – Pavan told her two things, that Dipi called him, and that he found out about the dirty video she kept secret from him.

She's convinced that Dipi, who's never been a fan of her arranged marriage plan, is responsible for both.

    Wed 10 Oct

Gary is trying desperately to get his hands on $100,000 to pay back Jeremy, admitting the extent of his struggle to a sympathetic Amy.

When a crestfallen Xanthe has a crisis of confidence about her abilities in the lead-up to the VCE exams, she considers delaying her university dreams for a year, giving Gary the opportunity to get the money back from her course deposit. But Gary chooses to stick by his daughter's dreams and convinces her to believe in herself.

Meanwhile, Dipi does some detective work and returns to Mishti with information that proves Monique was the one who sent the video.

Elsewhere, Paul decides to do some digging into Dr Rob's background. At the same time, Dr Rob has organised a special surprise for Amy, who's flabbergasted when she walks into a proposal – he wants them to buy a house together!

    Thurs 11 Oct

After a successful first date, Pierce is keen to book Chloe again and sneakily organises time alone with her under the pretence of a Lassiters engagement. Though Chloe is feeling quietly anxious about Tyler's impending return, she brightens to be the perfect date for Pierce and the pair share a banter-filled evening of fun.

Chloe finds herself even further drawn to Pierce when he demonstrates a sympathetic understanding of her worries about seeing Tyler again after so many years apart. But as the night comes to an end, Chloe is knocked for six when Pierce offers to reward her handsomely if Chloe will accompany him back to his room.

Meanwhile, Amy looks for a way out of having to move in with Dr Rob, even though she doesn't want her reluctance to ruin their relationship. Just as Amy prepares herself to have a hard and honest conversation with Rob, she arrives home to find him celebrating with the rest of her family. Paul has caught wind of Rob's plans and is giving Amy an advance on her salary so she can easily afford to accept Rob's proposal.

Elsewhere, Susan realises that Karl is missing Jemima terribly. She urges Karl to get on a flight to Boston to see her and the other members of his family, and a grateful Karl heads off to join his sister.

    Fri 12 Oct

Chloe is tempted by Pierce's proposition to take their arrangement beyond just 'non-contact' paid dating. She divulges the news to Elly, who is concerned Chloe might be getting in over her head. Elly tries to talk Chloe out of sleeping with Pierce by asking an unwitting Amy to discuss her own naughty-cleaning history. However, the well-meant interference backfires and Chloe affirms she'll be making her own decision.

When Chloe turns up to Pierce's hotel room, she is gifted with a beautiful and expensive necklace. It looks as though Chloe will take things to the next level, but she ultimately backs out.

Meanwhile, when the truth comes out about Gary's woes, Xanthe sadly offers to sacrifice her uni placement in order to get the money back. Seeing Gary devastated to let down his princess, Amy hands Gary her bonus from Paul to appease Jeremy.

Overwhelmed and grateful, Gary blurts out his true feelings – he tells Amy he loves her!

Elsewhere, tension lingers between Bea and Yashvi, and Xanthe finds herself stuck in the middle.
