I wouldn't be surprised though if it turns out to be a miss diagnosis.

As sad as it is for Chloe, a misdiagnosis would be pretty poor and lazy writing TBH. It would also be an insult to viewers who do have the disease, and don't get to have the disease written out of their lives as a misdiagnosis.
