    Monday (1)

Angie is furious over the vow renewal
Will she realise she's been duped by Jude?

When the cotton mill cancels at the last minute, Mary is forced to move Jude and Angie's vow renewal to Speed Daal. As the guests gather, everyone is oblivious to Jude's nerves – his marriage is resting on this.

When Imran arrives with an unsuspecting Angie, she's horrified and orders Jude into the kitchen. As he lies that Mary sprung it on him too, Jude begs Angie to play along for Mary's sake. Will she agree?

Meanwhile, when Carla realises Sinead has used factory offcuts to alter Cathy's coat, she orders her to work overtime to pay for it. Guilty Daniel apologises to Carla, asking her not to punish Sinead as she's pregnant. Carla agrees to cancel the overtime and keep quiet about the pregnancy, but when Sinead sees Daniel kissing Carla on the cheek, will she jump to conclusions?

Elsewhere, Jack is underwhelmed by his welcome home party and even the arrival of Tommy Orpington fails to lift his spirits. As Jack heads to bed, the party breaks up.

Also, Peter is proud of Simon for standing up to Tyler in court, but when Tyler gets off with a slap on the wrist, Simon fears he'll come after him.

Finally, Tyrone tells Fiz he isn't going to his mum's will reading.

    Monday (2)

Roy's life hangs in the balance
And Jude becomes an accidental hero.

When Roy gets stung by a bee and struggles to breathe, a passing Ali produces an epi-pen to revive Roy, then dashes to his office for more. As Roy opens his eyes and sees Jude, who's called an ambulance, he thanks him for saving him. Jude fails to mention Ali's involvement.

As praise is heaped on Jude in The Rovers, Angie tells him she's proud of him. But when Ali arrives, will he reveal the whole story?

Meanwhile, as Sinead confronts Carla about her kissing Daniel, she reveals she's bleeding. Carla takes her to hospital.

Elsewhere, Tyrone is gutted that Jack's party was a flop, but Kevin thanks him for trying and also thanks Sophie for all her support. Realising the importance of family, Tyrone tells Fiz he's decided to attend Jackie's will reading after all, even though she had nothing to leave.

Also, Paula welcomes Sally's idea to introduce her daughter Isla to Sophie.

Finally, when a fearful Simon shows Tyler's latest social media posts to Adam, he grins in delight.

    Wednesday (1)

Sophie is shocked as Paula asks her out
Does Sophie feel the same way?

Sophie and Isla are mortified at being set up by their mums just because they're lesbians.

Sally is disappointed over her failed match-making, but it appears Sophie has attracted somebody's attention when Paula calls at Number 4 and makes it clear she's interested in Sophie herself.

Meanwhile, at the will reading, Tyrone is surprised to see the other beneficiary is his dad Darren. The solicitor hands Darren a worthless ring and Tyrone a box of all Jackie's worldly goods. Among the tat, he finds a videotape saying sorry. Fiz borrows Roy's VCR, but when the tape snaps, Tyrone is gutted that he'll never hear Jackie's last words to him. Suspecting he knows what was on the video, Fiz summons Darren to the house.

Elsewhere, David discovers Max has been using his bank card to fund an online football league game – and that Aadi gave him the idea. David is fuming and confronts Dev.

Also, when Shona jokes that Jude should become a paramedic because women love a hero, he's given food for thought.

    Wednesday (2)

    Sophie responds to Paula's advances
    What would Sally think?

With the chemistry between them sizzling, Paula tells Sophie that she's bisexual. When Sophie kisses her, how will Paula respond?

Later, Sally worries that Gina has Kevin in her sights and decides to host a dinner party so she can pair him off with Paula. But Paula only has eyes for Sophie and Gina for Tim!

Meanwhile, David and Dev enter an online gaming feud. Both are funding their sons' virtual football accounts, determined their child will win.

Elsewhere, Jude tells Mary he's considering training as a paramedic. At the same time, Angie contemplates her future with Jude.

Also, Sinead is offended when she realises Daniel thinks her family is stupid.

    Friday (1)

Jim McDonald makes a surprise return
What does he want from his family?

Steve's mates throw him a surprise stag do in The Rovers.

Steve is soon handcuffed to the bar, but that's not the only shock in store when Steve's dad Jim McDonald walks into the pub.

Meanwhile, when Bethany witnesses Billy handing money to homeless Frank, she worries he's back on drugs and follows him to Weatherfield General. Bethany is horrified to discover Billy's secret – he's visiting Josh. Billy begs her to let him explain.

Elsewhere, when Toyah locks herself out of her flat, she's forced to borrow some of Tracy's old clothes from Peter for her first day at the medical centre. Moira compliments her new look.

Also, Sally is puzzled to find Sophie and Paula enjoying a drink together. Is she onto them?

    Friday (2)

    Jim's return leads to fireworks
Not everyone is pleased to see him back.

Telling Jim that he wants nothing to do with him, Steve storms out. As Peter lunges at him, remembering how Jim poisoned him with alcohol in prison, Jim begs for a chance to explain himself.

As Liz brings Jim up to speed on Steve and Michelle's split and his relationship with Tracy, she agrees to talk to Steve for him.

Meanwhile, Billy explains to Bethany how he feels responsible for Josh's injuries and reckons he can help him repent. Accusing him of betraying David's trust, Bethany returns home to break the news to David. However, seeing David playing happily with Max, Bethany can't bring herself to ruin his mood and agrees to keep Billy's secret, so long as he stops visiting Josh.

Elsewhere, Simon reckons Peter is softening towards Toyah. Carla tells Michelle she intends to play matchmaker between them, hence removing the temptation to get back with him herself.

Also, Sophie is stunned when Paula agrees to Sally setting her up with Kevin. She tells Sophie she only intends to go on one date with him, simply to appease Sally.

Finally, Gail is furious to discover David has invited Audrey and Lewis for dinner.

I get that billy has a big heart, but what’s to feel guilty about? If he hadn’t told that man about josh, that poor guy would have been raped.

I think it is the severity of the injuries and of course Josh is now telling him that he is blind because of Billy's intervention
