When Ian and Jay make remarks on Ben's history with men, he starts to wonder whether his date with Callum is such a good idea after all. His doubts are fuelled when Stuart begs him not to hurt Callum.

Later, Callum is gutted when Jay and Lola arrive during the date. With Ben also making no effort at all, Callum decides it's time to leave.

Meanwhile, Lisa notices how distant Bex is as they attend a baby shower for Louise. It's clear that Bex isn't coping but when Lisa tries to convince her to open up, she turns down the opportunity to talk.

Elsewhere, Denise confronts Sheree about Wanda's intentions with Ted, fearing that she's only out for what she can get.

Also today, Mel continues to make demands for Sharon to get her a villa in Portugal. Needing to get the ball rolling, Sharon suggests to Phil they should go on holiday.

Finally, Jean supports Daniel at his latest hospital appointment.

Jonno returns to Albert Square, leading to tensions with Stuart and Callum. Callum also discovers that Stuart was responsible for meddling with his date. Callum asks Ben to go on another date, but receives a surprising response.

Later, Jonno pops up again and learns that Callum's wedding was cancelled. Everyone tries to cover for the reason why, but Callum decides it's time to stand up to his dad. In this big moment, Callum receives support from someone unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bex continues to struggle with the idea of leaving Walford for university.

Elsewhere, Jack feels out of his depth as he has his first day back with the police.

Also today, Jean suggests that Daniel should make a bucket list, while Tubbs tells Ben they have a new 'customer' on the Square for their dodgy money-lending scheme.

Bex pretends to enjoy herself as Sonia marks her last day in Walford with a surprise party. Realising how much Bex is struggling, Lisa urges her to be honest with Sonia, but the teen puts on a brave face by making a speech before sneaking off.

Back home, the pressures that Bex has felt in recent months all come to a head and she tragically plans to take her own life. The next day, Sonia is shocked to find Bex unconscious in bed.

Meanwhile, Dot returns to Walford with her granddaughter Dotty. Tiffany is wary when she learns that Dotty will be sticking around in Walford.

Elsewhere, Sharon has to beg Jack for help when her plan to go to Portugal falls apart.

Also today, Whitney and Callum start to build a friendship. Whitney also meets up with Leo, unaware of who he really is.

Finally, Daniel meets an old friend to settle a score as part of his bucket list, while Linda's attempts to impress the school mums continue.

Everyone is shocked as Bex is taken away in an ambulance, while Lisa struggles with guilt. There's relief all round when Bex regains consciousness at the hospital.

Stuart finds the note that Bex left, but Sonia is adamant that what happened to her daughter was an accident. However, as the reality of the situation sinks in, Sonia starts to blame herself. She makes contact with Martin but grows frustrated when he fails to answer her calls.

Meanwhile, Jean gives Daniel some home truths when he puts his foot in it at this difficult time. However, Daniel has a surprise for Jean.

Elsewhere, Mel refuses to back down when it comes to her demands for Sharon.

Also today, Jags and Kheerat arrive in Walford and threaten Ben for stealing Kheerat's car.

Finally, Linda makes some progress with the school mums at last.
