Coronation Street's Sinead Tinker drops a baby bombshell on her fiancé Daniel Osbourne next week.

Sinead (Katie McGlynn) reveals that she's pregnant at a crucial time, just when she seems to be at a crossroads when it comes to her future.

Scenes airing early next week see Daniel (Rob Mallard) take some vintage dresses into the factory to show Sinead, unaware that all hell is about to break loose thanks to his seemingly innocent decision.

When a moth flies out of Daniel's bag, it doesn't bode well for the supplies at Underworld, so he desperately tries to stop a bad situation from getting even worse.

Making a swift exit, Daniel stuffs the vintage dresses in a freezer to kill off the eggs, before confiding in Carla about how he's brought moths into the factory.

Later in the week, factory boss Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) is furious when a new client inspects some underwear and sees that it's full of holes because of the pesky moth.

Alya angrily accuses Daniel and Sinead of being responsible for the lost order, but Daniel hits back by revealing that Sinead is leaving Underworld anyway because they're starting their own business.

Fearing Daniel has been too hasty, Sinead privately tells him that quitting might be a bad idea, as she thinks she might be pregnant.

When a pregnancy test confirms the big news, Sinead and Daniel are forced to beg Alya for her job back. Will Alya show any sympathy, or is the damage already done?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, August 1 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

Meanwhile, Johnny is bereft thinking he may never see his granddaughter again.

Elsewhere, Sean jumps at the offer of a grotty bedsit one of Dev's friends is renting out. Sean gets texts from Violet saying he has made no payments for Dylan, but he tells Eileen it is a hiccup with the bank.

Also, Daniel takes some vintage dresses into the factory to show Sinead but neither see a moth fly out of the bag. Kirk spots the moth and Daniel makes a swift exit.

Also, Summer gives a smitten Max his first maths lesson, Gemma and Henry practice some landlady/customer roleplay in The Rovers, while Peter tells Carla he misses her and they should have dinner.

Billy's words have a surprising impact.

David explains to Billy that he has been watching Josh to make sure he doesn't attack anyone again. The guy he was following has been spending time with Josh. Billy persuades David to go home. Once David has gone, Billy approaches the guy. Telling him he is a vicar, he warns him to steer clear of Josh as he is a rapist.

Later, the police call at Billy's and say that Josh has been beaten to a pulp by the guy he spoke to. Feeling guilty, Billy comes clean to David and Shona.

Meanwhile, Daniel stuffs the vintage dresses in a freezer to try and kill off the eggs and confesses to Carla he has brought moths into the factory.

Elsewhere, Henry and Gemma help themselves to the Rovers' cellar and get roaring drunk trying out various cocktails. Leanne is furious and throws them out. Rita reminds Leanne of her own humble beginnings and suggests she cuts Gemma some slack and gives her some guidance on running a pub.

Also, Sean confirms that he'll take the grotty bedsit but can't pay the deposit until he gets paid. Dev promises to have a word with his friend and see what he can do.

Finally, Johnny tells Kate and Michelle that he's not going to stand up in court and make out that Aidan wasn't of sound mind, as with Susie gone he no longer cares about the factory.

    Wednesday (1)

Sean receives help from a new friend
He decides to move into a homeless community.

Carol finds Sean slumped in the toilets battered and bruised and takes him to A&E, where he is forced to admit he is homeless.

Back at the rec, Sean finds his things have been stolen and Carol shows him a homeless encampment in another area of the park. Sean wonders how his life has come to this.

Meanwhile, a pregnancy test reveals Sinead is indeed pregnant. Daniel and Sinead beg for her job back.

Elsewhere, Johnny vows to do all he can to get Eva to come to the inquest so that he can see Susie one more time.

Johnny gives his evidence, followed by Eva.

Meanwhile, Sean arrives for work but is embarrassed when Henry remarks on a strange smell. Craig offers to try and find the thugs who attacked him but is bemused when Sean brushes him off.

Elsewhere, determined to claw back the money she owes Leanne, Gemma impresses Henry with her plans to invent a new cocktail.

    Friday (2)

    Eva says her final goodbyes
Will she leave Weatherfield on good terms?

As the inquest ends, Eva says an emotional farewell to Kate, united in their love for Aidan.

Toyah begs Eva to stay, but Eva says it is the best thing for everyone if she goes. Johnny also apologises for snatching Susie.

Meanwhile, Gemma's half price cocktails are a huge hit and she copes brilliantly with drunken revellers, leaving Henry impressed with her people skills. But Chesney is intrigued and concerned when he hears Henry take a suspicious phone call. What is he up to?

Elsewhere, Carol finds Sean in the urban garden. Sean admits he's starving and when Carol offers him a half eaten pizza, he buries his pride and tucks in ravenously.

Also, Steve discovers Tracy lied about the wedding fair and that she, Abi and Beth are off to a rave in Blackpool. However, he uses it to his advantage. Steve tells Tracy she can go to Blackpool with his blessing and he'll attend Amy's concert. Grateful Tracy promises to buy him a season ticket to County by way of thanks.

Finally, Brian and Joseph spend an enjoyable day building a den in the backyard. Joseph begs Brian to ditch his plan to open a shop and look after him instead. Brian's torn. Brian persuades Cathy that opening a shop isn't such a good idea as it's a risky business and they could lose all their savings.

Coronation Street's Gemma Winter could be facing more heartbreak next week, as it's revealed that her boyfriend Henry Newton is keeping secrets again.

Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) has reason to celebrate when she starts making her mark on the Rovers Return, but eagle-eyed Chesney Brown is quick to spot that everything may not be as it seems.

Following Henry's promise to buy the pub for Gemma, next week's episodes see them start to make big plans to transform the iconic boozer.

After trying out some landlady/customer roleplay in The Rovers, Gemma and Henry (George Banks) later go a cheeky step further by helping themselves to the contents of the pub's cellar, even though they're not the official owners yet.

Gemma and Henry get drunk by trying out various cocktail recipes, leaving Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) furious when she catches them out.

Watching the row unfold, Rita Tanner reminds Leanne of her own humble beginnings and suggests that she should give Gemma a break by offering her some advice on how to run a pub.

Later in the week, Gemma is officially unleashed on The Rovers and soon causes a stir by offering everyone half-price cocktails.

Any doubts about Gemma's suitability for the role are removed when she copes brilliantly with some drunken revellers, leaving everyone impressed.

Sadly, just when it seems like things are looking up for Gemma, Henry takes a suspicious phone call in private.

Watching on, a concerned Chesney reckons this can't be good. What is Henry hiding now?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, August 3 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
