Tuesday 3rd July, 8pm

Kevin's son Jack has a shocking health scare
Sophie is horrified by the turn of events.

Kevin leaves Jack with Sophie for the day. Jack complains of feeling unwell, but Sophie says he should go to school.

Later, Jack gets sent home from school and Seb and Faye find him slumped on the stairs, clearly unwell. As they carry him out of the house, Ali sees them and urges them to get Jack to A&E.

Meanwhile, Tracy says she wants an engagement ring and suggests Steve dig out the one she had last time around. Steve enlists Dev's help in going through all of his old engagement rings to find the right one. Later, Tracy overhears Ken offer to pay for Daniel and Sinead's wedding and assumes he will pay for her and Steve's too.

At the same time, Flora surprises Sinead and Daniel with a cheque to help them start a business.

Elsewhere, Simon returns from pleading guilty in court and apologises to all of his victims, offering to wash up in the cafe for free.

Also, Robert and Michelle are sick of having a full house and no privacy.

Finally, Seb can't bring himself to tell Emma about his HIV, David is furious with a rock star makeover Bethany gives to Max, while Ryan thinks he has booked a job in Lancashire but it is Lanarkshire.




Tuesday 3rd July 8.30pm

The Websters receive devastating news
Jack is diagnosed with sepsis.

The doctor at the medical centre confirms that Jack has a viral infection and advises a relieved Sophie to take him home. However, when Ali calls at Number 13 to check on Jack, he notices discolouration on his fingers and toes and calls an ambulance immediately.

Kevin, Sally, Sophie and Tim are stunned when the doctor confirms Jack has sepsis and the next 24 hours are crucial.

Meanwhile, Steve and Dev sort through the array of engagement rings, but Steve can't remember which one was Tracy's. Finally settling on one, he presents it to Tracy, but she is thrilled that it isn't her old one, believing him to have bought her a new one.

Elsewhere, Tyler approaches Simon in the cafe and says for a free sausage sandwich, he will call it quits. A bemused Simon gives him a sandwich, but Tyler leaves and slips the sandwich under the gate of Number 1.

Also, Ryan gets sacked for confusing Lancashire and Lanarkshire, so Michelle gives him a job in the Bistro.

Finally, Daniel and Sinead discuss setting up a vintage clothes shop, while Maria is upset when Audrey is unhappy with the way she has organised the stock cupboard.


Wednesday. 4th July 7.30pm

Bethany freaks out on her date with Ryan
She's still haunted by last year's ordeal.

Alone in the Bistro and desperate to have some private time, Robert suggests to Michelle that they should have some fun in the freezer.

Neither see Ryan sneak in to steal some steaks for his romantic dinner with Bethany and accidentally nudge the door shut, leaving them locked in.

Later, Bethany is enjoying a romantic meal with Ryan, who has got the flat to himself. They kiss passionately, but Bethany freaks out as he tries to go further.

A panic-stricken Bethany runs out of the door, just as Sarah comes rounds the corner to see Ryan watching her, looking totally bewildered.

Meanwhile, David starts his community service. When Billy drops in to see him, the other offenders are less than impressed that he is friends with a vicar. David calls in the cafe and stuns Shona by getting down on one knee and proposing.

Elsewhere, Toyah find Eccles seriously ill in the backyard of Number 1. Returning from the vets, Ken says Eccles ate a sausage sandwich laced with slug pellets but will recover.

Also, Sophie blames herself for Jack's illness as Kevin keeps a vigil.

Finally, Ken says he will pay for Tracy's wedding if she has a double ceremony with Daniel, while Beth asks Kirk to do some digging on Alya for Carla.


Wednesday 4th July, 8.30pm

Sarah's fury lands Ryan in hospital
She makes a dangerous mistake while defending Bethany.


Sarah goes into Ryan's flat demanding answers, but when he says Bethany is a tease, she sees red and shoves him before storming out. Ryan stumbles and hits his head before collapsing.

Bethany is upset at Craig's flat, telling him that she had a panic attack when Ryan kissed her. When Bethany tells Sarah that Ryan did nothing wrong, Sarah realises she overreacted in the way she treated Ryan.

Later, Daniel and Kate arrive in the Bistro to hear Robert and Michelle banging on the freezer door. The shivering couple return home to find an unconscious Ryan on the flat floor and call an ambulance.

Meanwhile, David is upset when Shona won't give him an answer. She tells him the time isn't right until he is stronger.

Elsewhere, Ali tells Kevin that Jack is not responding to the antibiotics as well as they had hoped. Kevin fights back the tears, feeling helpless.

Also, Simon realises Tyler poisoned Eccles. Toyah suggests Ken take Simon to a cottage in Cornwall her friend owns to get him away from Weatherfield and Tyler until the court case.


Friday 6th July, 7.30pm

The Platts panic when Ryan wakes up
Does he remember who attacked him?

Ryan regains consciousness and listens to Robert telling Michelle that he brought it on himself with his bad behaviour. When the poice quiz Ryan, he says he can't remember anything.

Bethany is worried she caused Ryan's injuries when she lashed out at him, prompting Sarah to admit it was her. Sarah visits Ryan in hospital, but he shows no sign of remembering their altercation.

Meanwhile, Billy is shocked when he visits the community centre to find David and a fellow offender, who are decorating the place, making homophobic jibes about him. When the other man leaves, Billy tackles David but is shocked by his reaction.

Elsewhere, Sean tells Fiz the start-up job is not what he thought it would be. He goes to Speed Daal, but Yasmeen tells him that she has filled the vacancies. Fiz asks Sean to get the groceries and says she will take the money off his rent, but Sean secretly worries about where he is going to find the money.

Also, Beth and Kirk prepare to move into the kebab shop flat.

Finally, Maria plucks up the courage to ask Audrey if she can buy into the salon and be her business partner.


Friday, 6th July, 8.30pm

Sarah explains everything to Ryan
Will he be understanding?

Sarah apologises to Ryan and explains that she attacked him because Bethany had been the victim of a grooming gang and it has made her over protective. But Ryan's reaction stuns her.

At the same time, Kayla is keen to lay the blame at Bethany's door.

Meanwhile, Billy is shocked when David breaks down and tells him about the rape. Billy suggests he should go for counselling and David thanks him for listening.

Elsewhere, Fiz tells Sean she is sick of him not paying his way in the house and tells him he needs to find somewhere else to live.

Also, Sophie has a go at Rana for the medical centre missing Jack's sepsis. When Rana defends her position, Sophie slaps her. Sophie heads to see Adam and says she would like to sue the medical centre for negligence.

Finally, Audrey tells Maria it is a family business and if she was going to go into partnership with anyone, it would be David. Annoyed, Maria offers to do Angie's hair up in the flat so she can chat to her about accountancy.
