Monday (1)

Liz and Johnny grow even closer
While Jenny is left out in the cold.

When Jenny accidentally spills coffee on the suit Johnny has picked out for Aidan's burial, he lets rip and tells Jenny that she's not welcome at the chapel of rest. As Johnny waits for his cab, Liz offers to go with him. Jenny is devastated as she watches them go and breaks down in Rita's arms.

As Johnny stares at Aidan's body, he's numb with grief. Back at the pub, Liz gives Johnny a comforting hug and the chemistry between them is evident.

Meanwhile, Michelle is chuffed when Ryan explains that his job in Ibiza has fallen through and he'll be sticking around for a bit longer. Later, when Ali tells Robert that he's looking for somewhere to live, Robert offers him Ryan's room on the grounds that he'll be back in Ibiza. As Ali moves in, he's not best pleased to discover they're going to be living together.

Elsewhere, Peter talks a grumpy Simon into taking Susie out in her pram to give Toyah a break. However, Eva is furious to see Simon and his mate Tyler smoking over the baby. She storms over and tears a strip off Simon, before wheeling Susie away.

Also, Eileen and Fiz meet for a drink, where they compare lunatic husbands. Gary is also shocked when Nicola reveals that she's moving to Bristol with Zack.

Finally, Kirk tells Sharon to stop phoning him and asks Carla for some overtime in the hope he can give up dog training, Simon is gutted when Summer points out he made a big mistake in his history exam, while Imran hands Alya a copy of Aidan's will and advises her to fight for what's rightfully hers.


Monday (2)

Johnny is shocked by Aidan's will secret
But he orders his family to respect Aidan's wishes.

With Imran in tow, Alya tells the Connors the game is up and she knows that Aidan left her the factory. Johnny is stunned, even more so when he realises that Carla and Jenny knew. The women claim they didn't want to burden Johnny before the funeral, but Alya accuses them of trying to screw her over.

Adam explains the plan to contest the will on the grounds that Aidan was of unsound mind but Johnny refuses to listen, adamant they must respect Aidan's wishes. Furious Johnny bans Jenny from the funeral before tipping up at Liz's flat clearly drunk. They kiss passionately.

Meanwhile, Eva tells Peter, Toyah and Leanne how she caught Simon and his mate smoking over the pram. Leanne does her best to force an apology from Simon, but he's unrepentant and lays into Eva for the way she treated Aidan. Eva is stunned.

Elsewhere, Nicola assures Gary he's welcome to visit Zack in Bristol whenever he wants. After a bottle of wine with Fiz, Eileen announces she's going with Nicola.

Also, Steve tells Liz she could do much better than Mike, while Geoff and Brian advise Kirk on how best to let Sharon down gently.

Finally, Duncan – the dad of Rosie's model friend Olivia – asks Sally for some advice on a grant application he's submitted to her mayoral charity fund.

Eva's guilt rises at Aidan's funeral
Is she close to revealing the truth?

Awash with guilt after his kiss with Liz, Johnny apologises to Jenny and assures her that she's welcome at the funeral. But when Alya insists that as Aidan's friend and business partner she should be there, Carla sends her packing.

At the funeral, Johnny delivers an emotional eulogy. But when he says Aidan would have made a great dad, it's too much for Eva, who rushes from the church.

At the same time, Liz in confides in Moira about Johnny's kiss.


Wednesday (2)

Johnny declares his feelings for Liz
Could they become a proper couple?

Johnny stares at Aidan's coffin in the ground and insists that he wants to be alone. Jenny heads off to the wake, hurt.

Johnny returns to the street emotionally drained and admits to Liz that he can't bear to be in the same room as Jenny. Liz invites him back to her flat, where Johnny confesses his feelings for her.

Meanwhile, Peter confronts Eva with the hospital baby photo. When Peter also muses that Eva never leaves Susie alone, Toyah is worried.

Elsewhere, Carla is furious to discover the locks to the factory have been changed. Carla, Jenny and Kate confront Alya and demand to know what she's playing at. Alya claims that she's only taking what's rightfully hers. Carla offers Alya 18% of the factory, explaining it was Aidan's share before she gifted him the rest of the business. Will Alya accept this?

Also, sensing that Seb hasn't anywhere to live, Eileen tells him he can stay at Number 11 until she finds a tenant. But as soon as Eileen and Nicola have gone, Abi invites herself to stay.

Finally, Michelle returns home to find Ali there by himself. Ali admits that he couldn't face the funeral as he felt like an interloper. Michelle hugs him and assures him that he means everything to her.


Friday

Toyah finally confesses everything to Peter
Can Peter ever forgive her?

Hour-long episode

Eva tells Toyah that she's going to move out so they can be a proper family. However, unable to bear her guilt any longer Toyah takes a momentous decision and tells Peter the truth – Susie is Eva's baby and their child died.

Peter is floored as Toyah explains the whole baby pact. Eva is stunned when Toyah reveals that Susie needs her real mum. As Toyah begs Peter's forgiveness, can he come to terms with what she's done?

Meanwhile, Alya drops the bombshell that she's now Underworld owner and instructs the girls to get cracking as they've a large order to get out. At the same time, Fiz gets Hope a new pair of trainers. But when she takes a call from school to say Hope has been selling trainers for cash, Fiz downs tools and heads out, despite Alya ordering her back to work. Alya tells her she's fired.

Later on, the factory girls mess about before staging a walkout in support of Fiz. Alya is horrified, but after apologising and getting Fiz back on side, she manages to rally the troops and have the order out by the end of the day.

Fiz also soon finds out that Hope conned Tyrone out of some new trainers too, so they give her a stern talking to. Thankful for Tyrone's support, Fiz tells Sean that she needs him to find somewhere else to live as she wants to make a go of things with Tyrone.

Elsewhere, Jenny has been up all night worrying about Johnny, but back at home after spending the night at Liz's, he simply blanks her. Returning to Liz's flat, Johnny tells her that he loves her and is going to end it with Jenny. How will Liz react?

Also today, Sean books the Bistro for his date with Kim, but asks Michelle if he can pay later as he's short of cash. After a successful evening, Kim suggests they split the bill. Sean masks his panic, but when Kim overhears him discussing his financial woes with Michelle, he realises he's broke.

Finally, when the letting agent calls at Number 11, Seb is shocked as his mum masquerades as Eileen and tells them the house is no longer available for rent. Abi admits she's been kipping at the garage. Will Seb agree to let her stay?

Lewis Archer is a male escort and conman who had an on-off relationship with Audrey Roberts in 2010 and 2012, something which her family didn't approve of, especially her daughter Gail.

Lewis originally stole from Barlow's Bookies and fled from the country, leaving Audrey brokenhearted. He made an unexpected return in 2012 in which he claimed to be a changed man and after repaying the money he stole at the bookies he reconciled with Audrey. However before the year was out their relationship fell apart when Audrey had doubts about how sincere he was, which was fueled by Gail and Gloria Price, the latter whom got close to Lewis by faking breast cancer and tried to incite an affair. A betrayed Lewis called a day on their relationship, and after Gloria left the area he began plotting revenge on Gail.

As Gail was convinced Lewis was truly a changed man, he faked that he was in love with her and they began a secret relationship with promises of a new life. However Lewis instead stole £40,000 from Gail and fled the country once more, but not before leaving a confession tape in which he admitted to stringing Gail along, leaving her penniless as well as humiliated in the process, although Lewis was apologetic to Audrey over how things didn't work out.

Five years later in 2018, Lewis was back in the country once again and teamed up with clairvoyant Rosemary Piper in order to target Gail and extort more money out of her, as he still felt disdain towards her for his separation from Audrey.
