    MONDAY

All kinds of secrets were revealed in flashbacks last week, as the Dingles picked over what they were doing the night Craig Reed, Lydia's rapist, was murdered.

As the investigation into his death continues, villagers are called upon to explain themselves to the police. Will anyone get arrested and collared for the seemingly unexplained crime? Will the truth emerge?

Belle continues to push the issue of Tom's mum's death, tone deaf to the fact that he's really troubled by the prospect of booking flights to get to her funeral.

Tom later admits that he doesn't want to go to the funeral alone and is relieved when Belle offers to go with him.

Elsewhere, Brenda's taken aback by Pollard's uncharacteristic anger.

    TUESDAY

Now Jacob and Victoria have crossed the line there's no going back. The pair have slept together and can barely keep their hands off each other.

But neither of them wants David to find out about their romance.

Jacob's petrified of how his dad will react to him being with his ex while Victoria riddled with guilt about the whole thing especially as David's been trying so hard to reconcile with her.

Outside David's shop, of all places, the pair snatch a forbidden moment and as they hold hands, David appears!

Will he notice them spring apart and suspect something is going on?

At the Dingles' homestead, Sam is devastated when his wife Lydia reveals she's taking up Will's offer and moving into Home Farm.

She needs space to work through what happened with Craig but Sam is desperately worried that he's losing his wife for good.

Elsewhere, another Dingle is in torment. But will Vinny tell anyone what's upsetting him?

    WEDNESDAY

Nate's concerned as Tracy is stressed out. Fearful of her past, which has seen his wife fall into a deep depression, he is desperate to help.

When Tracy says he's having college problems and needs a mentor Nate takes action. Is she telling her husband the whole truth?

Tracy runs into Jai and Laurel and drops a bombshell.

The Sharmas are stunned when she tells them Nate's told her that Amit, Jai's biological dad, is a homophobe who attacked Nicky, Suni's boyfriend, because he's gay.

Not about to stand for any prejudice after all they went through when Colin, Arthur's ex's dad, Jai and Laurel decide they're going to cut Amit out of the family. For good.

Having let her walls down, Victoria's fallen for Jacob. But their secret passion seems to have come to a sudden halt and Vic doesn't know why Jacob's gone cold on her.

In the Woolie, Vic's upset when he continues to ghost her. Has the guilt that he's sleeping with his dad's ex got to Jakey or is something else bothering him?

    THURSDAY

Having been told that Amit Sharma is a violent homophobe, Jai and Laurel want nothing to do with him.

But he's not of course. The reason Amit punched Nicky, his son Suni's boyfriend, is because Nicky accused him of murdering Rishi not because he's gay.

Jai and Laurel, so far, don't know Amit's secret ? that he was at Holdgate when his brother Rishi fell and died. He's furious with Suni for having told Nicky his murky secret which changes everything about Rishi's death.

Desperate to make sure no one else finds out, least of all Jai, Amit's happy to go along with this homophobic ruse.

But with Jai now not wanting anything to do with his 'homophobic' biological father, will Amit come clean and admit he was at Holdgate that fateful day?

Brenda doesn't know what's got into Pollard and is really upset. As she explains what's been going on to Nicola, will Brenda follow her colleague's advice to walk away from her angry partner?

Will proud Pollard try to rescue his relationship or let Brenda go?

Elsewhere, Bernice's spending spree continues? Where's all the money coming from?

    FRIDAY

The B&B isn't doing well and Bob is losing it as Bernice won't stop spending money on the place.

But how is she financing all these fancy diffusers and huge orders of posh veg if they have no punters to pay for it all?

She's definitely up to something. As Bernice sneaks around having sneaky phone calls, will Bob catch his business partner and call her out?

Across the village, Caleb is determined to get back into Leyla's good books and into her bed. But is everything as it seems with their rekindled romance?

Up at the scrapyard, problems come to light. Can Vinny cope?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emm...onship-crisis/

Emmerdale will air a major relationship crisis for Eric Pollard and Brenda Walker next week, as the couple have a huge row.

This week's dramatic episodes focus on the Dingle family, as Lydia questions the clan over their whereabouts following the shock murder of Craig Reed, who had sexually assaulted Lydia.

These episodes feature a number of flashbacks, which reveal the family's secrets to viewers, but many of the Dales residents will remain in the dark about what exactly has happened over the course of the week.

With the effects reverberating around the village, Eric and Brenda's relationship will come under strain in the aftermath of the murder.

As the week begins, Pollard is not acting himself and he suddenly lashes out at Brenda, who is left baffled by his angry outburst.

Soon enough, bereft Brenda is crying on Nicola King's shoulder. Nicola bolsters Brenda to move on, telling her that she should find another man if Eric won't treat her properly.

With fire in her heart and her anger burning, Brenda decides that it's time to do just that.

Will Pollard manage to save his relationship, or has his behaviour ended things between the couple for good?

It remains to be seen what is in Pollard and Brenda's future, but Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has confirmed that at least one relationship in the soap is about to be rocked, as an unidentified married character embarks on a "very passionate, steamy affair" with another resident.

"The affair is going to have huge repercussions. It's going to affect a lot of our villagers," she promised.

The list of characters who may potentially be about to cheat on their spouse includes Kim Tate and Will Taylor, Tracy and Nate Robinson, and Nicola and Jimmy King.
