I agree with John Nichol. The whole point of joining the forces is to defend your country when it's needed and help other countries out with peace-keeping etc. What was the point in joining, except tradition, if he was going to sit behind a desk?

    Prince Harry Minted

Third in line to the throne, Prince Harry became a good deal richer on Tuesday when he celebrated his 25th birthday and became eligible for a 6.5 million inheritance left by his mother.

Although the young Prince will not gain access to the full amount until he turns 30, he will start receiving the interest - around 300,000 a year - from now.

Harry's brother, Prince William, received the same amount on his 25th birthday two years ago.

Diana had an estate of 21m, but more than 8m was paid in inheritance tax following her fatal car crash in 1997, leaving nearly 13m to be split between her boys.

Harry is currently training to become an Army Air Corps helicopter pilot, and, as a Lieutenant in the British Army is on a pay band of between 29,006 and 32,061.

Not a big fan of the royals but Harry is my favourite. I love the look he gave Meghan when she was at the altar. He does truly love her
