    Exclamation Liz Conway (Debra Lawrance)

It looks like a former Home and Away star is making the move over to Erinsborough, as Neighbours fans have done some sleuthing and now believe that Debra Lawrance has joined the cast of the Aussie soap.

It was officially announced this week that the soap is introducing Australian singer Bonnie Anderson as new regular character Beatrix Nilsson later this month, causing Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) to fear her life is about to be turned upside down with the arrival of her half-sister.

And now it seems their family will be expanding on screen once again, too, as some keen fans have done a little digging and discovered something very interesting on actress Debra Lawrance's online CV.

Yep, head on over to the Television section of the CV, and you'll see that Lawrance is now credited as playing the role of Liz Conway on Neighbours – a character who's previously only been seen in a handful of appearances in 2001 and 2002 when she was played by Christine Keogh.

On the soap, Liz Conway is Elly and Bea's mother – and Susan Kennedy's sister – and while the show hasn't confirmed the casting and had no comment on the reports when asked by Digital Spy just yet, if the listing is accurate it could suggest that we're about to see a lot more from Liz over the next few weeks and months.

Debra is best known for playing the second incarnation of Pippa Ross in Home and Away between 1990 and 1998 and then again from 2000 until 2009, and it wasn't long before she became known as Australia's most recognisable mum.

Speaking back in 2016, Debra didn't rule out a return to Home and Away, saying: "If they needed Pippa that desperately to try and attempt to replace her again then I would probably go back.

"If they were that desperate and paid me enough money, of course I'd do it."

But, for now, it seems that the actress is happy enough swapping Summer Bay for Ramsay Street.

We'll find out soon whether the fans' super-sleuthing turns out to be accurate as Bea will be arriving in Erinsborough on Channel 5 in the UK on Friday, May 18.

Quite a few ex H&A actors of late. Actors who play/ed Brad Terese and Elly also ex H&A. There was also Sonia's crazy ex from a few years back.

Neighbours confirms Debra Lawrance is joining as Susan's sister Liz Conway
She'll be on screen next month.

    http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neig...ns-liz-conway/

It's official – former Home and Away star Debra Lawrance is going to be joining Neighbours as Susan Kennedy's sister Liz.

Last month, the actress sparked speculation that she would be appearing on Neighbours, after fans spotted the credit on her CV.

However, we can now confirm that Debra is going to be making her Neighbours debut next month, when Liz arrives in Ramsay Street for a rocky reunion with her daughters Elly and Bea.

Speaking about joining the Neighbours cast, Debra told Digital Spy: "It's fabulous, really fabulous. I have got some very dear friends on the show and it's only filmed 20 minutes from my house.

"Liz is very, very different from Susan her sister. She is ego-centric, very selfish and quite flighty. She has a lot of issues."

Debra is best known for playing the second incarnation of Pippa Ross on Home and Away, appearing intermittently on the show between 1990 and 2009.

The character of Liz briefly appeared on Neighbours in 2001 and 2002 – during those appearances, she was played by Christine Keogh.

Neighbours airs on weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Neighbours reveals family battle for Liz Conway as Elly and Bea turn against her
Can she find a way to make amends?

    http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neig...lly-bea-drama/

Neighbours has revealed a first look at former Home and Away star Debra Lawrance in the role of Elly and Bea's mother Liz Conway.

Liz returns to Erinsborough this Friday after being contacted by her sister Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), who tells her that she's needed on Ramsay Street.

In the aftermath of the family's traumatic ordeal with evil Finn Kelly, Susan tells Elly (Jodi Anasta) and Bea (Bonnie Anderson) that the only way they can move forward is by dealing with everything that happened in their past.

When Liz arrives, she's initially cagey about their family history, but eventually confesses that she's the real reason that Bea had to leave home at the age of 15.

Although Bea has always blamed Elly for her experience on the streets, it turns out that Liz was the one who really wanted her gone, as she reminded her too much of Bea's dad Lars.

These new spoiler pictures show the aftermath of Liz's revelation as she becomes determined to make things right with the girls, who both snub her once the truth is out.

Liz convinces Bea and Elly to join her for lunch, but it doesn't go well as she finds herself torn down by her daughters once again.

Shortly afterwards, Liz drowns her sorrows at The Waterhole and her frustrations grow as Susan offers advice that makes her feel small.

That night, Mark Brennan is horrified to find Liz injured and disorientated, with the contents of her bag strewn across the ground.

Liz reveals that she's been mugged and later tells the girls that the culprit was Finn, but is there more to this situation than meets the eye?

The character of Liz Conway was previously played by Christine Keogh in 2001 and 2002.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Friday, July 27 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Going by what we know so far she sounds like an awful mother. Poor Bea was homeless for five years
