Robyn and Glen are both rushed to hospital -
Glen has a tragic decision to make.
As Robyn and Glen are rushed to the ED, Glen admits that he's been having seizures and that Dylan treated him that morning. A terrified Robyn insists they get a second opinion. Glen is determined to keep smiling as he undergoes an MRI, only for tests to confirm the tumour has spread – he now has only days left to live.
Robyn fights for Glen, determined to buy him more time. Not wanting to disappoint her, Glen goes along with the neurologist's plan to insert a shunt. But when he starts to lose his sight, Glen panics and admits he's terrified of making things worse. Instead, he just wants to spend the time he has left with Robyn and Charlotte.
Meanwhile, concerned that his alcoholism may be affecting his judgement, Bea asks to shadow Dylan. Together they treat Carly, a young woman who is suffering chest pain and is convinced she has TB.
A dismissive Dylan diagnoses muscle strain, but Bea can't help worrying that Dylan has missed something. She goes to Sam for advice, unwittingly giving away that he's an alcoholic, and further concerning the patient.
