    Exclamation EastEnders spoilers 2nd - 6th April 2018

    Monday

Ted is grieving following Joyce's sad death last week. When Bernadette arrives to check up on him, she helps him to set the ball rolling with registering Joyce's death and making plans for the funeral.

Ted also admits that he hasn't told the children about Joyce yet, so Bernadette urges him to make the call.

Meanwhile, although Mel has warned Hunter to stay away from Phil, he ignores her and sneaks off to join Louise at a big Mitchell family lunch that Sharon has arranged.

When Mel finds out about Hunter going behind her back, she refuses to stand for it and arrives at the Mitchell house to bring him home. Unfortunately, Sharon has been secretly drinking and it's not long before she's rowing with Mel.

Elsewhere, Kat suggests to Stacey and Mo that they should start a cleaning business to solve their financial woes.

    Tuesday

Ted is expecting his daughter Judith and the grandchildren to pay a visit in the aftermath of Joyce's death, but she ends up turning up without the kids. Judith is furious that Ted failed to tell her about Joyce for several days and she refuses to accept any comfort from him. There's clearly no love lost between them even at the best of times, as Judith angrily accuses Ted of being a bad husband to Joyce.

Although Judith later agrees to give Ted a chance, she soon gets jealous when he plays a game of chess with Bernadette. Flying into a temper, Judith confronts Ted over the past – including how he once tried to ruin her wedding. When Judith then makes a furious phone call in private, what is she up to?

Meanwhile, Hunter hangs around Phil, pretending that it's because he wants Phil to show him the ropes at the garage. But what is Hunter really planning?

Elsewhere, Kat's initial optimism over her cleaning company idea starts to wane. Not only are the local residents still furious with her, Karen is also unhappy when Kat tries to hijack her customers at the launderette.

Also today, there's trouble for Mel when thieves steal alcohol and her handbag from the club.

    Thursday

Tension continues to build between Ted and Judith as they make plans for Joyce's funeral. Judith deliberately goes against her father's wishes for what Joyce should be buried in.

Bernadette becomes concerned over the way that Ted is being treated, but she struggles to make Judith see sense.

Meanwhile, as the Slater backlash continues, Kat feels guilty for how it's affecting Stacey. Kat tries to ask Ian for help in turning things around, but he's having none of it. Later, the Slaters continue to get a hard time at the pub.

Elsewhere, Louise tells Bex that Hunter is trying to push her into sleeping with him before she's ready.

    Friday

It's the day of the club opening, but there's more tension for the Mitchells when Phil tells Sharon that he won't be going.

Later, Hunter tries to raise Phil's concerns over security at the club, suggesting that he should hook up the CCTV to his mobile so he can keep a better eye on things.

Meanwhile, Louise tells Bex that she's now ready to sleep with Hunter. When Carmel overhears, she offers some friendly advice – but it makes Louise question whether Hunter can really be trusted.

Elsewhere, Tina wants to get Honey and Billy back together. She encourages Jack to take Honey to the club launch, so Jack asks Honey to come along so that she can help to make Mel jealous.

Later at the opening, Tina urges Billy to get Honey drunk and win her back for good. However, Tina's plans go awry when Honey starts flirting with Jack instead.
