Coronation Street may have just revealed a firm date for Pat's Phelan's comeuppance – and it's a lot sooner than you may think.

Fans already know that Phelan's story is reaching a dramatic climax in the near future, but short spoilers for the end of March suggest it's now merely weeks away.

The brief synopsis for Friday, March 30 reveals that the truth about Phelan finally catch up with Eileen – who refuses to let her evil husband get away with his crimes.

Spoilers in the lead up to Friday's episode tease that Phelan will try and persuade Eileen to join him on a seaside break – hinting that this is where it all unfolds.

Tabloid reports have already suggested Phelan will suffer a deadly fall from a cliff while on holiday with Eileen, with further pap pics showing the couple having a heated discussion during the mini break.

The new spoilers also reveal that Gary and Seb will be taking centre stage in the big week after the pair "unearth more than they bargained for".

With no further information available for now, fans will have to wait and see how Phelan's long-awaited comeuppance comes about, but there is certainly isn't much longer to wait now...

Here's a full breakdown for the week commencing Monday, March 26:

    Monday, March 26 – 7.30pm

Audrey puts Rosemary to the test, David's plan to uproot his family causes tension, and Phelan receives disturbing news about the mill project.

    Monday, March 26 – 8.30pm

Simon's behaviour shocks Peter and Leanne, Martin questions David's rash decision, and Carla instructs Aidan to rally the factory workforce.

    Wednesday, March 28 – 7.30pm

Phelan convinces Eileen to join him on a seaside break, Peter confides in Carla about Simon, and Jenny's dream villa proves a low priority for Johnny.

    Wednesday, March 28 – 8.30pm

Gary and Seb hunt for a murder weapon at the mill, Carla offers errant Simon a job, and Liz meets a blast from Steve's past.

    Thursday, March 29 – 7.30pm

Gary and Seb unearth more than they bargained for, the Rovers' family event gets underway, and Jenny enlists Liz's support in tackling Johnny.

    Friday, March 30 – 7.30pm

The truth about Phelan finally catches up with Eileen, Fiz and Tyrone row in public, and Audrey takes over the hospital radio airwaves.

    Friday, March 30 – 8.30pm

Eileen refuses to let Phelan get away with his crimes, Eva unwittingly raises Aidan's hopes, and Simon pulls the wool over his parents' eyes.

As always, more detailed spoilers and a full collection of pictures for the week in question will appear here on Digital Spy on Tuesday (March 19), when there could be more clues and hints over exactly what's going on.

    Monday (1)

Legacy Reach site manager Mona arrives and shocks Phelan with some news.

It turns out that Phelan won't be paid for his shoddy work as the concrete he has laid has to be dug up and done again. Is it only a matter of time before Andy and Vinny's bodies are found?

Meanwhile, Gail explains to a sceptical Audrey, Roy and Brian that Richard Hillman has put a curse on the Platt family and Rosemary has offered to help, in return for payment. Having been summoned to the salon, Rosemary is shocked to find the group of friends, but recovers her composure and insists that Gail needs her help.

As Audrey, Brian and Roy leave the salon, Audrey is knocked to the ground by a gang of youths who steal her handbag. As Audrey is taken to hospital, Gail is convinced this is proof of Richard's curse!

Elsewhere, David and Shona argue over his decision to emigrate, while Maria points out the visa might be a problem. Martin arrives, but sensing an atmosphere, he leaves. Martin is then intercepted by Josh, who tells him that David was angry he was moving so far away.

Also, Leanne announces the brewery are going to do a 'Family Local' promotion and are sending a photographer round, but things get off to a rocky start when Oliver draws all over his face with marker pen and Simon disappears.

    Monday (2)

David is furious to discover from Martin that Josh has been speaking to him. Martin tells David that he is baffled by the rush to move and that he should take his time, while Sarah points out that Shona and the children don't want to move either.

As they prepare to wave Martin off, David reaches a decision.

Meanwhile, Peter and Leanne are shocked to hear what Roy has to say about Simon.

Elsewhere, as a sheepish Steve arrives at The Rovers with a marker pen covered Oliver, Eva comes to the rescue and suggests giving him face paint to disguise the pen. Henry is delighted with the results.

Also, Carla gets the keys to the factory and gets Aidan to rally the workforce.

Finally, following Audrey's advice, Gail tells Rosemary she has decided to let sleeping dogs lie. Rosemary tells her she is making a terrible mistake.

    Wednesday (1)

After being berated by Tim to speed up the move, Eileen tells Liz she has no choice but to move away. Phelan convinces Eileen to go with him to check out a possible cottage for a week.

At the same time, Seb overhears talk of the concrete being dug up and hears one of the workers calling Phelan to fill him in on the news. Convinced that Phelan buried the gun that killed Luke in the cement, he asks Tim and Gary to help him retrieve it.

Meanwhile, Leanne and Peter are increasingly worried about Simon's behaviour, prompting Peter to confide in Carla. When Carla spots Simon in the street with the gang, she heads over.

Elsewhere, Jenny confides in Rita that Johnny is not prepared to spend time looking at potential Spanish villas with her.

Also, Audrey is told she will have to stay in hospital longer with her injuries.

Finally, Summer asks Aidan for a job at the factory, despite him saying no already.

    Wednesday (2)

Phelan and Eileen set off for the seaside cottage.

Over at the Mill, Seb and Gary have resorted to locking the security guard in the portaloo as they start to crack open the concrete using sledgehammers.

Meanwhile, having stood her ground against Simon and the gang, Carla decides to try and solve the problem of Simon a different way and offers him a job at the factory helping with IT.

Later, Leanne and Tracy almost come to blows after Tracy hears that Leanne blames her for the maker pen incident, so she winds Leanne up about Simon's behaviour.

Elsewhere, Steve's old school teacher Mike Russell turns up in The Rovers, but Steve hides and asks Liz to serve him. As Mike flirts with Liz and asks her if there are any cab firms looking for drivers, she suggests Streetcars. Steve is unsure, but when Tim suggests it might be fun to be the boss of his old teacher, he changes his tune.

Also, Rita and Audrey are embarrassed when they mistake the hospital radio DJ for a doctor, but he turns on the charm and dedicates a record to Audrey.

Finally, Asha winds up Summer about her crush on Aidan.

    Thursday

Eileen and Phelan arrive at the cottage. Phelan tells Eileen that he has hired a boat and suggests they can look at cottages over in Ireland too.

Back on the Mill site, Gary and Seb's hunt for the gun is curtailed when the police arrive and arrest them. They insist they were looking for a murder weapon, but at the station, the police are keen to know more about the two bodies that have been found in the concrete! Gary is arrested on suspicion of murder.

Meanwhile, Jenny interrupts Liz's flirtations with Mike to ask for her help, as she has put a deposit down on a villa in Spain and needs her to help persuade Johnny. At the same time, Johnny is dealing with problems at the factory between Aidan and Carla, who isn't convinced Alya is good enough to be Aidan's number two.

Elsewhere, it's the family day at The Rovers – bring a child, get a free pint! When Fiz talks to Sean about how worried she is about Hope, he suggests taking her along to the fun day. At the same time, Tyrone has also turned up with Ruby. When Gemma tips up to claim her free pint with a spotty teenager in tow, Fiz suggests to Ty that he sit with his 'girlfriend'.

Also today, Geoff asks Audrey to sit in on his radio show, but she gets locked in the studio when he goes for a coffee.

Finally, Eva panics that something is wrong with her pregnancy, leaving Toyah concerned.

    Friday (1)

A panicked Phelan throws his passport and a few clothes in a bag and prepares to leave, but Eileen catches him and asks where he is going. Phelan lies that he is popping out for fresh air, leaving her alone in the cottage.

Eileen follows Phelan with a picnic to try and sort things out, but is angry to find him about to sail away in the boat. Furious, she accidentally drops her hamper – complete with car keys – in the sea.

Back in Weatherfield, Adam has arrived at the police station to represent Gary and they are stunned to discover the news about the bodies. Adam tells Tim, who leaves a voicemail message for Eileen.

Phelan is comforting Eileen, who has cut her foot, but when she gets a few bars of signal on her phone, the message from Tim comes through. Horrified, she tries to persuade oblivious Phelan to go back to the boat, but as she heads towards the harbour to try and call Tim back, she is unaware he has followed her.

Meanwhile, Eva has a scan, but is reassured that the baby is okay. She contemplates ringing Aidan.

Elsewhere, as the row in The Rovers escalates, Tyrone and Fiz are shocked to realise Hope and Ruby have disappeared. They find them in the back of Rovers with Simon, who tells them all to think about the kids.

Also, Audrey's adventure being locked in the radio booth cements her friendship with Geoff.

Finally, Moira accuses Liz of fancying Johnny, but Liz says she fancies Mike.

    Friday (2)

As Eileen waits desperately by the lighthouse for Tim to answer his phone, Phelan grabs it off her just in time to hear Tim trying to warn her. Terrified, Eileen shouts out where she is, but Phelan throws the phone into the sea.

Eileen confronts Phelan, calling him a liar, murderer and a rapist. Eileen then threatens to throw the boat keys over the sea wall to stop him getting away.

The couple tussle and the rusty harbour railing gives way. Is this the end of Eileen, Phelan, or both?

Meanwhile, Aidan asks Eva about the missed call he had from her, but she lies and says it was an accident. Eva tells Toyah about the scare with the baby.

Elsewhere, as Peter and Leanne talk about the improvement in Simon's behaviour, we see him and the gang throw a brick through a car windscreen and run off laughing.

Also, Liz introduces Mike to Johnny and Moira.

Finally, Geoff tells Audrey he has family in Weatherfield so they may bump into each other.
