Izzy Is About To Find Out Whether Her Devious Mission Has Worked.

She's lied, schemed and stolen in her quest to have Karl's baby. But has Izzy achieved her dream of conceiving a second child?

In emotional episodes in Neighbours this week, Izzy (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) will discover whether she's pregnant.

But judging by the way she holds her hand protectively over her stomach, it's very possible she's expecting.

To find out for sure, Izzy and Karl (Alan Fletcher) sit down in her hotel room to do a pregnancy test.

If baby number two is on the way, Izzy knows Karl will support her.

"She's always had a soft spot for Karl," Natalie, 42, says. "She feels safe with him and that he's the only one who understands her. She's always longed for a family unit."

While they start the nerve-racking process, Karl's wife, Susan (Jackie Woodburne), is alone and bursts into tears, fearing the test will be positive.

Karl also hopes Izzy isn't pregnant. "It impacts horrendously on his relationship with Susan," Alan, 60, reveals.

But Alan says Karl can also see a positive side to what's going on.

"That's why I love this story so much," he explains.. "There's no black and white.

"At almost every occasion, Karl and Susan are both completely torn about how they feel - Karl more so than anybody."

For Izzy, though, expanding her family with Karl would give her the stability she craves. The troublemaker had a tough childhood and has never really felt settled.

From the second Izzy set foot back in Erinsborough, she's been trouble. She waltzed in with a bag full of money to tempt Karl into giving her what she wants.

And when he said no to Izzy's request for another baby, she made her most devious move yet, stealing Karl's sperm sample.

"Izzy has always been not quite right," Nat explains. "But this time, it's gone to another level. She doesn't know who she is. I think that's the basis for all of this. She's always lived in a bit of a fantasy world."

Time will tell whether scheming Izzy has successfully engineered a new family for herself. But if her pregnancy test should turn out to be negative and there's no baby on the way, what will she do next?


Rip Off.

Aaron Gets Violent When He Thinks Rafael Is Hiding Something.

So far, Rafael has concealed his true identity from boyfriend David. But that could all be about to change.

In shocking scenes, an aggressive Aaron (Matt Wilson) confronts the Brit. He ends up ripping off his shirt, exposing Rafael's (Ryan Thomas) secret.

Fans will recall Rafael is in town to get revenge on Paul. He believes the business mogul started a fire that killed his mother and left him badly scarred.

But while he's been here, he's fallen for David (Takaya Honda).

It's all real," Ryan, 33, says. "He has an agenda, but this [his feelings for David] he can't fake. No relationship is as intense as that.

Aaron's suspicions about Rafael are aroused when he recognizes him from a past encounter.

He's instantly worried David is being used. David, however, accuses him of being jealous.

So Aaron searches Rafael's belongings at the Backpacker's Hostel. He finds Sue Parker's business card just as Rafael walks in on him.

When Aaron questions Rafael over his connection to Paul's nemesis, Rafael tries to run. That's when Aaron grabs him.

While David is furious and Rafael mortified, Aaron is left in no doubt that Rafael is up to something.
