EastEnders is lining up more trouble for the Taylor family next month with the arrival of a new face on Albert Square.
Holby City star Roger Griffiths is set to star in a handful of episodes in March in the role of Mitch Baker, with his arrival in Walford set to impact massively on Karen and the Taylors.

Mitch will make his first appearance when he turns up at The Arches and in his first episode, it's revealed that Mitch Baker is Keegan Baker's (Zack Morris) dad and Karen's (Lorraine Stanley) ex-boyfriend, which begs the question of why he happens to be in Walford in the first place.
While he won't be staying in the Square long, it's clear he has history with the Taylors and his shifty behaviour during his time on the soap is sure to raise viewers' suspicions about the real motives behind his return.

"The Taylors are an established tight-knit family on the Square, so coming in as Mitch – the wild card – meant I had to hit the ground running," Roger said of his new role.
"I had a brilliant time and the actors who make up the Taylor family made me feel at home instantly. It was love at first sight."

Alongside his recurring role as Harvey Tyson on Holby City back in 2007, Roger has also had roles in Casualty, Doctors and Doctor Who too, appearing as Commander Kess in 2008 episode 'Planet of the Ood'.
It's not the first time he's appeared on EastEnders either, having previously starred as Detective Inspector Christopher Riddick between 2004 and 2005, with his last appearance being when Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) was arrested for the murder of her husband Den (Leslie Grantham).
Roger's first appearance as Mitch will air on Monday, March 12.
