Max is confused by the delay to Abi's funeral, but Jay tells him that he hasn't received the paperwork yet.
When Max discovers that Abi's body is now at the funeral parlour, he rushes over – but Lauren soon arrives and tells him that the funeral has already happened without him.
Meanwhile, as Aidan is getting impatient, Vincent asks the estate agent to find a quicker buyer for The Albert instead. Although Vincent fills in Aidan on what's going on, Aidan still isn't happy and demands a down payment in the meantime. With the reality of his situation hitting home, Vincent drops the bombshell to Kim that they're broke.
Elsewhere, Kathy discovers what Masood is up to with his samosas at the chippy.
Also today, finances are becoming an issue for Jay and Donna with Abi and Ben both gone.
Tuesday
Max is devastated by Lauren's claims over Abi's funeral and demands to know where his daughter is buried, but Lauren refuses to give any details away.
As Max continues to ask more questions about the ceremony, Lauren's panic is obvious. Max eventually discovers that Lauren is lying to him – the funeral hasn't happened yet, but she doesn't want him there when it does.
Meanwhile, Kim considers applying for a loan to help with her family's financial problems. Kim prepares a romantic meal for Vincent and he finally admits that he's in trouble with the wrong people. Determined to help, Kim suggests selling her engagement ring – but the idea doesn't go down well with Vincent.
Elsewhere, Halfway prepares a romantic surprise for Whitney after some encouragement from Donna, but how will it go down?
Also today, Masood desperately tries to save his job at the chippy when Kathy tells him that he's fired.
Thursday
Lauren refuses to tell Max when Abi's funeral is, explaining that Tanya won't attend if he's there. She also warns that he'll lose her too if he keeps hassling her.
Later on, how will Jay react when he spots a disheveled Max out in the cold street?
Meanwhile, Kim reveals her plan to Vincent over how she intends to solve their financial problems. Will Vincent be impressed?
Elsewhere, Whitney assumes that Halfway is stealing from The Vic when she spots him messing around with the till. Whitney realises that she's confused by her feelings for Halfway, but as he's started to think that he's outstayed his welcome at The Vic, is it too late?
Also today, Donna and Robbie argue after spending the night together, while Masood and Kathy's rivalry continues.

Abi's funeral day has finally arrived.
