Emmerdale could expose David Metcalfe's cheating secret next week as Tracy makes an unsettling discovery.
Last Friday's episode saw David confess to Priya that he had recently slept with Leyla Harding, confirming fans' worst fears after his mysterious behaviour earlier in the week.
Upcoming scenes will see David (Matthew Wolfenden) do his best to move on from his infidelity as he and Tracy return home from a romantic trip to Paris.
In fact, Tracy is feeling so loved up with David that she even decides to make amends with Priya Sharma after their recent falling out, until a shock discovery threatens to change everything.
With David preparing to head off to a convention in Harrogate, he panics when he realises that his phone is missing – worried about what could be discovered if it falls into the wrong hands.
And it seems that David has good reason to be anxious, as Tracy has stumbled across his phone and is unsettled to find an incriminating message from Leyla on it.
Although Tracy initially hides her upset about Leyla, she eventually decides that she needs to confront David about what's going on.
Unfortunately, the couple are interrupted by local handyman Phil – who inspires Tracy to get her own back on David in another way.
After flirtatiously asking Phil out for a drink, Tracy downs her sorrows with her new friend – until her concerned sister Vanessa is called upon to take her away.
Once back at home, Tracy finally gets the opportunity to confront David about Leyla – but will she believe his explanation? Or will her worst fears be confirmed?
Either way, it looks like Tracy could have more problems to contend with as Phil is later seen looking at an old picture of her. Who is Phil and is he to be trusted?
