I have stopped watching. Missed 10 episodes so far cannot bear to watch until a few of the storylines finish.

KO said way back that Josh wouldn't go to prison and that there would be "justice" in another way.

Coronation Street looks set to revisit David Platt's shocking rape storyline as Josh Tucker returns to the soap.

Actor Ryan Clayton will be back on the show as the character later this year, it has emerged, with Josh returning to David's life after the latter comes out of prison.

Last year, David (Jack P Shepherd) was sexually assaulted by Josh, and the last we saw of the villain he had finally admitted to his actions after David bundled him into a car and threatened to go to the police.

The rape storyline provoked a lot of controversy, sparking more than 200 complaints to Ofcom from viewers.

The soap was later cleared, with the regulator telling Digital Spy: "This storyline tackled a sensitive and challenging subject, which we appreciate was uncomfortable viewing for some.

"However, we considered that ITV took extensive steps to ensure it was handled sensitively and carefully. These included working closely with a victim support group, and repeatedly signposting the help available to anyone affected by sexual violence.

"We also considered that, although the offender's violent intentions were clearly implied, the scenes were neither explicit nor graphic. Finally, we took into account that clear warnings were broadcast before both episodes."

Meanwhile, David was recently given an eight-month prison sentence after being involved in the plot to steal grandmother Audrey's money.

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.

Coronation Street's Josh Tucker might currently be in prison, but it appears his life is in grave danger, with reports suggesting David Platt's cruel rapist will be stabbed.

According to The Sun, an upcoming storyline will leave Josh's life hanging in the balance after a dramatic riot takes over the prison – but is David, who's also serving time for fraud, be involved in any way?

It's believed David will come face-to-face with the man who brutally drugged and raped him in the scenes, but confrontation soon turns to chaos when Josh is stabbed in the commotion.

Has David snapped under pressure, or is another prisoner to blame? We'll have to wait and see.

Either way, it sounds like something troubling is afoot for David, with actor Jack P Shepherd recently hinting that a return to his character's dark and devious ways could soon be on the cards.

Speaking over the summer, Jack said there was always scope for David to revisit his violent past. "That's the beauty of it with the Platts," he said.

"They can all switch and go a bit psycho one minute, then vulnerable and emotional and funny. It works each way for all the characters."

Coronation Street has hinted that Josh Tucker could be about to face justice following David Platt's release from prison.

Tonight's scenes (November 7) saw an excited Shona tell Gail and Aubrey that David would soon be released, hopeful that he'd make it back in time for their wedding.

As the wedding guests gathered in the Bistro, Shona began to panic as there was no sign of David. He was stuck back at the prison after Nick's car battery died.

To everyone's relief, however, David finally arrived having got a lift in the prison van.

Still in his prison attire of a T-shirt and jogging bottoms, David then read out his vows to Shona in an emotional ceremony with the village in attendance.

To top off an already great day, Nick then told David that the CPS is revisiting David's rape allegations against Josh, after he'd been accused of raping someone else.

    Will Josh finally face justice?
