TV WEEK has the following Neighbours plot teasers for the week 22 - 26 Jan:

    Piper's Plan Backfires.

Has She Caused More Harm Than Good?

There's nothing Piper wants more than to keep her boyfriend Tyler out of jail after he was arrested for the murder of Hamish Roche.

With time running out before the trial, it seems inevitable Tyler (Travis Burns) will pay the ultimate price. But that won't stop Piper (Mavournee Hazel). This week in Neighbours, she comes up with some last-ditch attempts to save him.

Firstly, she tries to get Ben to change the statement he made to police.

"She tries to convince Ben to say Tyler acted in self-defence," Scott McGregor, who plays Tyler's brother Mark, explains. "Ben is torn - he wants to help, but he knows it's not the right thing to do."

Not one to be deterred, Piper decides to take matters into her own hands, releasing a Pipe Up video online that features Tyler's friends and family talking about how great he is.

"The video makes Tyler look good, but it ultimately end up backfiring," Scott, 36, reveals.

Online trolls upload an old video of Piper verbally abusing Tyler over his assault on Canadian backpacker T-Bone. This leads to an article that paints Tyler as a thug.

With Tyler's case in tatters, his family is left to pick up the pieces.

"It's one of the first times you see Mark vulnerable," Scott says.

"He's defeated and has no answers left. He realizes he just needs to let fate take over."

The situation is compounded when Piper receives an offer to study at a university in Queensland. She's torn between chasing her dreams and supporting the man she loves.

Will Piper follow her head or her heart?

    Hit The Road, Jack.

Steph Worries Jack Is Pulling Away From Her.

After returning from a Christmas break, Steph is overjoyed at the prospect of reuniting with Jack.

But Jack is more focused on rebuilding his family following Gabe's kidnapping.

Steph admits to Toadie her feelings for Jack are getting stronger, just as he seems to be drifting away.

So Toadie has a quiet word to Jack, who plans a romantic night with Steph. But are his efforts coming from a place of good intentions or guilt?

    Splash Landing.

Things Get Wet And Wild When A Heated Dispute Lands Dipi And Leo In The Pool.

Dipi and Leo cause quite a scene in Neighbours this week when a heated row sees them end up in the swimming pool fully clothed!

The pair argue over Shane's failed generator invention. Dipi believes Leo took advantage of her husband.

Leo rejects her accusation and the dispute escalates, resulting in them both falling into the pool.

However, it seems the unexpected plunge manages to cool things down, as they then have a civil conversation to sort out their differences.

All this results in Shane making an important decision about his future.
