Am I cross the writers/long term planners have 'copped' out of dealing with abi's baby storyline, or denying at least one brannng a happy escape from the square?

Did Jane send Tanya to let Ian know, why did Jane herself not come back?

So happy my feeling was wrong! I have loved these christmas episodes. Gutted for Stacey but really feel this has put some life back into her character! I have not enjoyed the slummy mummy, bored housewife Stacey, that we have seen for too long. Not enjoying the second wait to see who died. I think Abi will be Braindead and kept alive to give her baby a chance to survive.
What was the real point of the gunshot, it seemed a bit out of place to me to shoot that gun for nothing! But surely if it somehow managed to hit somebody that would have been revealed tonight.
Loving Eastenders again at the mo

Yes it pinged off something, wasn't heard by anyone, so has it stuck in a tyre and will cause a blow out at speed and then kill someone?
If nothing comes of it it was a bit pointless.
I think loving it might be a bit strong, but it has got me fully engaged even if not in a positive sense.

I felt I was missing an episode tonight as it looked to skip from the cliffhanger from Tuesday's episode
Stacey is ruined Sharon on about a party in the pub after Lauren and Abi just fell from it's roof, what a heartless cow
