    One villager is arrested for Emma's murder. Who have the police decided to target?
    Meanwhile, Laurel is on edge after recent events.
    Elsewhere, Debbie feels conflicted about whether to accept financial help from Tom in the build-up to Christmas.
    Also today, Bernice is pleased to learn her business has been doing well and hopes the extra revenue will clear her debts. However, when she hears how much Lydia is struggling, she realises it's time to come clean to both Lydia and Dee Dee about the money.

    Meanwhile, one of the local families is in turmoil as a secret is revealed.

    I honestly don't understand the reasoning behind making Emma's death a murder? As some of us have stated, it was a fitting death for her to commit suicide. But oh no not Iain MacLeod, he had to turn a perfectly good storyline into a circus. Iain you need to learn to read or listen to what the Emmerdale fans are wanting. It seems that they have better stories to tell than you. Give up your job to someone who knows what they are doing.

    Agreed. This storyline is really irritating me. They should’ve just made it Pete if they were that determined to do it as a murder. Nobody would miss him if he was chucked in jail.

    And yet more utter incompetence from the soap police that always boils my blood.
