Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby will fall victim to a cunning thief in the run-up to Christmas.

Leanne (Jane Danson) is on the lookout for a new man when she returns to Weatherfield, but just when she thinks her love life is finally looking up, things take an unsettling turn.

When Leanne first arrives back after several weeks staying with her mum Stella Price, she decides to experiment with online dating.

Sadly for Leanne, her experience is full of disastrous dates and no-shows – so she's pleased when she ends up hitting it off with Toyah and Peter's handsome new B&B guest Chris instead.

Leanne's sister Eva encourages the potential match by getting Chris (Oliver Walker) to buy her a drink – and it's not long before they're making plans to meet up again.

However, while Leanne is enjoying her first proper date with Chris later in the week, she fails to notice him sweeping her mobile phone off the table and into his pocket.

Later, the afternoon of drinking at the pub has disastrous consequences when Leanne discovers she's been robbed by Chris.

Much to Leanne's confusion, she finds that Chris has stolen her mobile phone but has left her purse, which contains all of her cards and money.

A baffled Leanne wonders what on earth Chris's game was, but she's in for another nasty surprise as the true meaning behind his behaviour hits home…

Coronation Street teen Amy Barlow makes a mischievous move this Christmas as she tries to sabotage her parents' shock reunion.

Steve and Tracy will reignite their relationship after a night attending Amy's Christmas carol concert brings them closer together again.

While Steve and Tracy might have assumed that Amy (Elle Mulvaney) would support their relationship, the schoolgirl's reaction couldn't be any more different to what they'd expected.

Amy knows that a romance for Steve and Tracy only ever ends in tears. On a more selfish level, she also enjoys being spoiled so much by both of them, seeing clear benefits to having parents who are separated.

On Christmas Day, Tracy (Kate Ford) is on cloud nine after spending the night with Steve, but she's left crushed when she receives a heartbreaking text.

Steve (Simon Gregson) has seemingly messaged Tracy to claim that their night together was a big mistake, but when she confronts him, he doesn't know anything about it.

When Amy later tells her mum that a reunion with Steve is a bad idea, Tracy puts two and two together – realising that her daughter has tried to sabotage them by sending the text herself.

While Amy's first attempt at splitting up her parents seems to have failed, her disapproval seems to be far from over when she later joins forces with Simon.

The teens agree that Steve and Tracy shouldn't be back together, but how far will they go to get what they want?
