Lee's friend Moose returns to Albert Square and Woody gets jealous when it's clear that he likes Whitney.
Woody tries to mark his territory by telling Moose that he and Whitney are getting married. However, Moose retaliates by revealing that Whitney has already received her divorce papers through from Lee – something she hadn't told Woody.
Meanwhile, Lauren feels threatened when she comes face-to-face with Josh's ex-girlfriend Imogen, who seizes this opportunity to manipulate her and stir up trouble. Concerned by what Imogen tells her, Lauren starts to doubt Josh. Even though they share a kiss, Lauren's concerns get the better of her.
Elsewhere, Karen panics when she discovers that the loan shark she owes money to has collected Riley and Chatham from their after-school club and brought them home. Karen knows she has to find a way to quickly settle her debts, but how?
Tuesday
Karen gets the children out of the house so that she can deal with loan shark Lloyd, but he's more ruthless than ever and keeps the upper hand.
Later, Keanu is horrified to return home to find that the loan shark has taken the TV away. However, that's only the start of it as Lloyd decides to take some more sentimental items from the family too.
Meanwhile, Woody asks Whitney why she didn't tell him about Lee filing for divorce. As tensions between Moose and Woody escalate, they fight and this ruins Whitney's plans for a night at the theatre with Woody.
Elsewhere, Lauren tries her best to put Josh off from wanting a relationship with her.
Also today, Ted makes peace with Joyce ahead of their court appearance.
Thursday
Ben ends up with Luke's wallet by mistake.
The mix-up leads to Ben discovering something about Luke's business that worries him, but what will he do about it?
Meanwhile, when Karen confides in Linda about her desperate situation, Linda begs Mick to lend Karen the money she needs to get back on her feet. Mick reminds Linda that they can't afford such generosity.
Elsewhere, Whitney tries to break the news to Woody that she's worried about rushing back into marriage too quickly.
Also today, Joyce and Ted hear their fates in court.
Friday
Jay speaks to Lauren about Ben's recent discovery. Lauren then takes it upon herself to quiz Josh over what might be going on, but he warns her that it's best not to antagonise Luke.
Later, Lauren refuses to listen and does her own detective work, making a worrying discovery.
Meanwhile, Whitney stands up for herself with Woody and Moose.
Elsewhere, Shirley, Joyce and Linda all come up with ideas to help Karen – including a collection to raise the money she needs.
