Wednesday spoilers have now been added & also below is the Digital Spy article after the new promo/trailer:

Home and Away newcomer turns murderous in bombshell new storyline twist
Will Ari survive the soap's blockbuster night?

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

Home and Away newcomer Lewis Hayes' storyline is set to take a murderous turn in upcoming scenes as his vendetta against Dr Christian Green becomes ever more sinister.

The soap's latest trailer, which has begun airing in Australia and which you can watch above, shows that Lewis (Luke Arnold) will dangerously step up his campaign against Christian (Ditch Davey), who he blames for the death of his wife Anna.

Lewis first arrived in the Bay in Australia's season finale episode at the end of 2020 and has since taken a job at the Northern Districts Hospital alongside Christian.

The pair have clashed a number of times and this new trailer reveals that Lewis is about to make a shocking move, as he attempts to kill injured Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams), who is lying in a coma after being knocked down by a car in a hit-and-run incident.

Lewis is determined to prove to everyone that Christian is incompetent and he is seen in the trailer filling a vial with liquid by Ari's bedside and telling him that he is "sorry", apparently preparing to inject him with a potentially lethal substance.

"Dr Green is finished," he declares menacingly in the trailer, but is Lewis really prepared to become a killer in order to get his revenge on Christian?

These dramatic scenes will air as part of a 'blockbuster night' of Home and Away in Australia, with the soap set to air three back-to-back episodes on Monday (March 29).

Lewis' dark turn isn't the only surprise we can expect during Home and Away's big night, as we will also see Susie McAllister (Bridie Carter) attack Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) by repeatedly trying to drug her, before she seemingly attempts to suffocate Irene. Will Irene survive ? and what will happen to John Palmer (Shane Withington) after he unwittingly drinks Irene's tainted wine?

Ari's brother Tane Parata (Ethan Browne), meanwhile, will discover that Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) is pregnant with Ari's baby, while Ryder Jackson (Lukas Radovich) and Chloe Anderson (Sam Barrett) share a passionate kiss.

Fans will also see Dean Thompson (Patrick O'Connor) and Amber Simmons (Madeleine Jevic) declaring their feelings for each other after realising that they want to be a family with their young son Jai.

But who will survive the night of drama?

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
