Seems so, though I thought she was supposed to reunite with Ken so I'm not sure what happened there. Odd as I thought the actress opted to leave Emmerdale to return to Corrie. Why leave only for a short term role?

It now seems to be the "thing" get a surprise return even for a short while but no thought inputted to the character's return

They always seem to do that to characters that were kind and warmhearted for years .. suddenly they change their characters .. never for the better

They did the same with Eva.
