Adam pays Colin a visit and explains that Rita has changed her mind over her flat. Colin insists it's too late. What will Adam do?

Aidan and Johnny - Coronation Street - ITV
Johnny tells Aidan that he intends to use the insurance money from Underworld to fund his and Jenny's retirement in Spain. Aidan isn't impressed.

Beth, Johnny and Jenny - Coronation Street - ITV
Johnny is then confronted by Beth and Izzy demanding to know when the factory will reopen now that the money has come through. How will they react when Johnny reveals his plans to retire and move to Spain?

Jude and Angie - Coronation Street - ITV
Mary throws a dinner party for Jude and Angie, convinced Angie's an alcoholic, Mary encourages Peter to share some of his stories of alcoholism. How will Angie react?

Sally and Seb - Coronation Street - ITV
Seb moves into No.4. Sally shows him round and confesses that she phoned social services. What will Seb say?

Todd, Aidan and Alya - Coronation Street - ITV
Aidan and Alya load up their new van with material and park it round the back of the factory. Todd keeps a close eye on them.

Kirk, Chesney and Beth - Coronation Street - ITV
Chesney tells Beth and Kirk that they'll have to find somewhere else to live as he needs to concentrate on Joseph.

Sinead, Chesney and Daniel - Coronation Street - ITV
Meanwhile, Sinead is struggling with being step-mum to Joseph and seeks help from Daniel, much to Chesney's annoyance.

Mary and Angie - Coronation Street - ITV
The police pull Angie, over and insist she takes a breath test. As Dev and Mary arrive on the scene, Angie realises Mary reported her. What will she do?

They always seem to do that to characters that were kind and warmhearted for years .. suddenly they change their characters .. never for the better

Monday (1)

Moira calls into The Kabin and is instantly attracted to Colin. Soon afterwards, Adam pays Colin a visit and explains that Rita has changed her mind over her flat. Colin insists it's too late as it's a done deal. Moira is impressed by his attitude.

Later, Adam and Todd search frantically for Colin's contract. Aidan clocks them from across the road, as Adam and Todd make to swap Colin's contract with their forgery.

Meanwhile, as Johnny and Jenny sit down to dinner in the Bistro, they're confronted by Beth and Izzy, demanding to know when the factory will reopen now that the money has come through. They're shocked when Johnny reveals his plans to retire and move to Spain. Jenny is gobsmacked.

Elsewhere, Seb moves into Number 4. Sally shows him round and confesses that she phoned social services as she was concerned for his welfare. Seb accepts that if anyone's to blame, it's his useless mother.


Monday (2)

In the Bistro, Johnny breaks the news to Aidan that he intends to use the insurance money to fund his and Jenny's retirement in Spain. A furious Aidan turns on Jenny, calling her a gold digger. When Johnny defends her, Aidan rounds on his dad.

Clearly fired up, Aidan marches into the solicitors' office and picks up Rita's forged contract. Rosie throws a drink in his face and grabs the contract from him.

Aidan also approaches Billy and tells him about the forged contract. Aidan suggests it's time he wised up to Todd's criminal activities and Billy is taken aback. Later, Billy confronts Todd over Aidan's accusations.

Meanwhile, Mary throws a dinner party for Dev, Jude, Angie, Peter and Toyah. Convinced Angie's an alcoholic, Mary encourages Peter to share some of his horror stories of alcoholism. The guests are completely bemused.

Elsewhere, Jenny has a big decision to make about Spain.

Also, Adam plays his trump card with Colin.



Wednesday (1)

When baby George becomes unwell, Mary hotfoots it to the Bistro to find Angie. Grabbing her car keys, Angie insists she'll drive him to A&E.

Convinced Angie has an alcohol problem, Mary calls the police and reports her for drink driving and endangering her son's life.

Meanwhile, Angie confides in Toyah about her real troubles.

Elsewhere, Sinead is struggling with being stepmum to Joseph and finds an unlikely ally in Daniel, much to Chesney's annoyance.

Also, as Aidan and Alya load up their new van with material and park it round the back of the factory, Todd watches on.


Wednesday (2)


The police pull Angie over and insist she takes a breath test.

As Dev and Mary arrive on the scene, Angie realises with disgust that Mary reported her.

Meanwhile, Chesney tells Beth, Kirk and Craig they'll have to find somewhere else to live as he needs to concentrate on Joseph.

Elsewhere, Alya rescues Aidan from humiliation.



Coronation Street will not air on Friday this week.

I dont think I ever remember a scene of Daniel talking with nephew Simon or niece Amy but he is good with stranger Joseph

Maybe because he felt abandoned as a child . Anyway do the solicitors office not have a cleaner. In normal circumstances that earring would have been thrown out a while back.
