Ash Tells Tori His True Feelings - But Is It Too Late?

After weeks of flirting, it looks like Ash and Tori might finally get together this week in Home And Away.

At the Diner, the pair have yet another awkward run-in. Tori (Penny McNamee) concludes Ash (George Mason) doesn't like her. Fed up, she texts police officer Colin (Ben Barber) about a second date.

"Tori feels it's time to move on and get over her feelings for Ash," Penny, 34, tells TV WEEK.

"Ash has made it clear they are only friends, so Tori believes there is no hope for them romantically.

"That's why she goes on a date with another man."

Distracted, Ash bumps into a single mother on his way out. After some banter, she invites him out for a drink. Deciding it can't hurt to have a fellow parent as a friend, he agrees.

That night, however, both dates end up at Salt! Tori tries to make Ash jealous - until he confronts her at the bar. Meanwhile, their respective dates become annoyed and leave.

Tori storms outside. Ash quickly follows and admits his feelings for her. Tori is stunned.

"When Ash finally reveals his feelings towards Tori, she feels shocked and confused," Penny reveals.

"During the time that Tori had feelings for Ash, he assured her he saw her only as a friend.

"Now that she's moved on, he suddenly declares how much he cares for her."

Of course, Tori is worried Ash is on the rebound and is only using her to get over his recent break-up with Kat. Will she give him a chance?


[Trivia Time: Ben Barber, who plays Colin, had a guest role in Home And Away in 2011. He also portrayed Dr Rhys Lawson in Neighbours.]


Stab In The Dark.

Is Brody Going To Jail For Attempted Murder?

Brody's life is turned upside down this week when he's arrested for a brutal stabbing.

When Brody checks in for bail, he's confronted by an angry man. He accuses Brody of trying to kill him.

The man is Jay Turner (Aidan Gillett), a drug dealer who works for notorious crim Zannis (Caleb Alloway).

Policewoman Kat overhears the commotion and takes a statement from Brody and his accuser. Jay smirks as Brody is led into the interview room.

Jay claims Brody attacked him with a screwdriver at the drug house while he was high. He then lifts his shirt to show the marks on his torso.

Unfortunately, Brody can't remember pieces of that time, which makes him a suspect.

Later, Kat and her police squad arrive at the Morgan's with a search warrant.

Brody's lawyer, Scarlett, is there at the time and angrily protests. Kat dismisses her concerns.

Their search yields results and Kat holds up a pair of shoes displaying blood spatter.

Brody is arrested on the spot. Is he going to jail?

Maggie Astoni (Kestie Morassi) has a traumatic experience next week, as an intruder makes their way into the school as she’s working late one evening. Hearing a window smash, Maggie goes to investigate and finds a large rock sitting in the corridor.

As a terrified Maggie retreats and cowers in her office, a hooded figure approaches…

The principal is in no condition to start berating one of her star pupils though, the incident has had a staggering effect on Maggie who appears to be completely traumatised.

As Ben, Ziggy and Coco rush to the school to help, a shocked Raffy can only apologise—she never meant to scare her.

The root cause of this reaction is something that has only been hinted at before now and looks to be revealed in this week’s episodes, when Ziggy reads an old newspaper article relating to a teacher (i.e. Maggie) being injured as hooded youths vandalised her old school.

It soon becomes apparent that Ziggy is carrying a heavy secret related to the incident, which will eat away at her further following this latest drama with Raffy—could Ziggy’s guilt be the cause of her fractured relationship with her parents…?

Elsewhere in the bay, it seems that time is fast running out for Beth Ellis (Anneliese Apps), who is currently on the waiting list for a heart transplant as a result of cardiomyopathy.

After a big day which saw boyfriend Mason (Orpheus Pledger) meet her father Alan (Blair McDonough) for the first time—an initially shaky encounter which ended in a lunch invitation—Beth later collapses whilst on the pier with Mason.

Justin (James Stewart) and Scarlett (Tania Nolan) hear Mason’s screams for help as he desperately performs CPR, and Justin is able to perform mouth to mouth as Mason continues chest compressions to save her.

Later, at the hospital, Tori (Penny McNamee) has to inform Beth and her family that if a heart doesn’t become available soon, Beth will die.
