Dead End. A Murder Mystery Rocks Summer Bay.

The lives of Kat, Justin and Tori are all on the line this week when the search for Robbo's true identity leads to a shocking murder. Plus, dark secrets will have deadly consequences.

Will they all come out alive?

In gripping scenes in Home and Away, Robbo (Jake Ryan) goes rogue after policewoman Kat (Pia Miller) reveals she's no closer to finding out about his past.

At the caravan park, an irritable Robbo runs into Scarlett (Tania Nolan) and relays his predicament. Surprisingly, she offers to help.

"Robbo's search keeps coming to dead ends. It's very frustrating," Jake, 34, tells TV WEEK. "Scarlett suggests they use his tattoos to search online for connections."

The next day, Kat arrives home to find her new housemate, Robbo, at the computer. He has a list of people he may have known.

Kat helps trace the addresses of each individual, and the pair hit the road.

Elsewhere, a brave Scarlett struggles to save Justin (James Stewart) from drowning.

The Morgan brother was out on the water when he hit his head on the boat. Knocked unconscious, he fell into the water and quickly slipped beneath the waves.

Springing into action, Scarlett dives in after him. Thankfully, she finds Justin and drags him to shore.

Unable to feel a heartbeat, Scarlett starts CPR. But as she does, she has flashbacks to resuscitating a little boy.

Pushing on, Scarlett's lifesaving manoeuvre pays off - her boyfriend comes to.

At the hospital, doc Tori (Penny McNamee) checks over her brother while Scarlett sits in silence.

In another flashback, viewers see Scarlett try to wake up her son, Max - he's stopped breathing.

Her flashback is interrupted by Tori, who asks if she's OK.

Nearby, Justin looks on with worry.

Is there more to Scarlett's past than she's letting on?

Tori brings up Robbo and is surprised when Scarlett tells her about the list.

The doc thinks about meeting up with them. Watch out, Tori!

On the road, Kat and Robbo arrive at the first address. The owner doesn't recognise Robbo.

At the second home, however, the mystery man gets a familiar feeling.

"He doesn't have a clear memory of it, but there's something about the house he's drawn to," Jake says.

When Kat notices the front door is wide open, they cautiously enter through the backyard.

"What they discover inside shows his instinct was right," Jake says.

There they find a scorched photo of Robbo with a woman.

Why did someone try to burn it?

Inside the house, they are hit with a horrible smell. And it doesn't take long for Kat to find the source - the dead body of a woman.

Who is the woman? And what dark secrets will now be exposed?


[Trivia Time: Jake Ryan is a former Taekwondo champion. A career-ending knee injury saw him just miss out on the 2008 Olympic Games.]
