    Robert Hardy dies, age 91

Very sad news - Robert Hardy has died at the age of 91. One of Britain's best and best known actors, Robert Hardy will for ever be remembered by me for his role in what I still consider to be the greatest television drama series of all time, All Creatures Great and Small.

Of course, he played many other roles and was never anything less than excellent in any of them.

Another great actor and I agree All Creatures Great and Small was a great show in which he excelled as he did in Harry Potter ..

    RIP Robert x

Very sad news. I've got such fond memories of Robert as the sublime Tristan in All Creatures Great and Small.

Ah well, it's several decades since I watched it. I'm sure his brother was definitely called Tristan though...
